OpenSports - meetup for sports

Good app except every time you make an order, it makes you put in all the same info over and over again. Also, you can’t make more than one order at a time. Please update.

I had been using opensports since 2018ish and I love it! I had met a lot of people playing the sports that I love and the app has evolved to so many useful features over the years! Highly recommend the user experience and functionality of this app!

My biggest issue with this app is that you can’t turn off the wait list clock over night. If someone drops out at like 1am the night before and the wait listed person is sleeping, they loose their spot. Seems like it could be an easy fix. 🤷‍♂️

Two main things: 1. Receiving notifications for every single new event is exhausting, please consider a single notification indicating that there are new events added 2. There’s no good way to view membership details (passes remaining) within the app

Happy to have an app focused on organizing games, rather than relying upon generic social networking products. However, the app design leaves a lot to be desired. For example, none of the form text inputs have data validation, auto-fill support, or the ability to move focus to the next input; this makes filling out event registration forms cumbersome and repetitive. The app already knows my first name, I shouldn’t have to enter that same data each time I register for an event.

This app is great for pick up games or meet up with new people and play you’re favorite sports, only annoying issue is the fact that it does not keep you signed in, you have to continuously sign in. Other than that the app is awesome!

For some reason, the philadelphia volleyball community has totally converged on Opensports. Its very vibrant on this app! It is used to organize, recruit, and collect payments for over a dozen pick-up volleyball events every week. The developers even got in contact with our philly organizers. Amazing app and im glad its spreading!

First off, this is a fantastic sports app. I’ve used it for three years with no hiccups until I had to get a new phone. Now the issue. If you sign into this app with 1 Facebook account, you CANNOT switch Facebook accounts. If you sign out, the app will prompt you to login with the exact same account. No way to switch accounts unless you wipe your phone. Yes I’ve tried deleting app data and iCloud caches. Second issue. If you directly add a credit card to your account and try to remove it, it will not allow you to do so. The account now requires 1 card at all times. Very poor security flaw. Third issue. I’ve reached out to support. No response. This app has great execution, but flawed design. I’ll gladly fix this review if the above points are addressed.

I started using Open Sports three years ago for my pick-up basketball group and I’ve been thrilled with it since Day 1. My players and I have found it easy to use as a one-stop shop, and we do all of our registering, communication and payment through the app. Best of all, the customer service is AMAZING. Whenever I had something to figure out, the Open Sports help desk got back to me promptly and always gave me the info I needed in a kind, friendly way. The whole operation has a family feel to it. I would recommend the app to anyone who’s looking for a well-designed, sports-group management platform with powerful functionality and attentive staff.

I really like the idea for this app, but as an individual player I'm not finding any games in my Puget Sound region. Out of curiosity I tried the Discovery feature (on the website) and were no events for almost any American or Canadian city west of Minneapolis.
