Сколько стоит OS Maps?
OS Maps имеет несколько покупок/подписок внутри приложения, средняя цена покупки составляет 26.98 S$.
I paid for my local maps. They are all downloaded. EVERYTIME I go for a walk : black screen + “you are offline, failed to change layer” WHAT IMBECILE coded this? Get him to test it once before releasing it????? It says the developer gave a response: “they were improving map loading speeds?” This is unrelated. The current failure is easy to replicate or test: Do the OS maps load when phone is in “airplane mode”? Or do the maps fail to display “topographic” maps and instead display the yellow error “failed to change layer” and display only black. For a map (used in the countryside), working without internet connectivity is essential.
Love this app
Great value for money
Access denied!
Paid subscription via apple account - attempting to login and app says I have no account. No obvious way to contact os to rectify. Terrible service!!
A rip off now
Far too expensive after the recent price hike, I have therefore stopped my subscription.
Also you can’t download paper maps without a paid subscription, you should be able to if you’ve bought the paper map. Disgusting.
I can’t even download paper maps I have downloaded in the past when I was paying the subscription.
It’s just another example of rip off Britain and a govt agency screwing us.
Best app I own
My Dad got me a subscription to OS maps for a birthday present and I have renewed it each year since. It is the best app on my phone and iPad. I record my walks then study them later at home, I plan new routes, I use it everyday. Highly recommend for anyone who likes walking, cycling, or driving.
Great mapping and routing but long load times
Clear view of OS maps
Good routing: “snap to path” will snap to paths not shown on map but which clearly exist when you get there. This is very helpful indeed.
Spoilt by VERY LONG LOAD TIMES
Spend a lot of time just looking at a white screen even if you have downloaded the map or are in great Wi-Fi. I have in iPhone 15pro so it’s not the processor. Very poor when using on the hill in poor conditions standing there for 2 minutes waiting for your map to appear
Frustrating
The reason for 3 star rating is mainly due to
Using the Record Activity function. It’s far to easy to accidentally pause, thus completely ruining the records I really want to save. Instead of the simple easy to hit button, if possible changing it to a swipe to pause would eliminate accidental pauses. The original navigation app I purchased years ago was Viewranger. This app would display the hight above sea level of your current position and or the position of the cursor. This is something else I’d love to see implemented on the os maps app. Apart from that, all good thanks.
Not as responsive as previous versions
Have used os app for a number of years . Latest version does not open as smoothly as previous versions and often sits with a blank screen. This is particularly unnerving when out walking as is relied upon for supporting navigation .
Brilliant, but could easily be better!
The curser size needs to be enlargeable on a mobile devices
When planning a new route the software still refuses obvious and desired paths for irrelevant and useless detours
It would be useful to be able to show National Trails superimposed similar to the National Cycle Network
More difficult, but ultra useful, would be an indication of a safe walking path alongside busy roadways
Os maps review
Brilliant app for plotting routes. Would highly recommend
