## Otoo Description
Otoo is a fun, one-screen music maker designed to get you creating right away.

Its free-form sequencer lets you place, drag, and stack notes freely - no more rigid rows. Use the built-in sounds, the sampler, or your favorite AUv3 instruments, then remix ideas live with hands-on Performance Mode effects.

On iPhone, Otoo makes AUv3 instruments feel at home with a large instrument view and a compact keyboard for immediate playing.

Beautifully simple workflow

• Free-form step sequencer with instruments not tied to fixed rows

• Single-screen workflow with sequence, song structure, and mixer always visible

• Tap or drag notes onto the grid to build beats and melodies

• Stack notes to create chords

• Per-step control of length, subdivision, and velocity
• 4 rows on iPhone and 5 on iPad, with multiple instruments available in each row at different steps

• 2-octave keyboard for playing and learning real notes
• Multi-gesture mixer for switching instruments, muting, soloing, and adjusting volume

A wonderful step sequencer, the first I’ve actually enjoyed straight out of the gate. It’s not quite free-form however. Like many others, it’s ruled by fours. It would be wonderful if the pattern blocks came in ones, twos, threes AND fours, freely sequenced. This would allow nearly free-form rhythms, opening up for the more experimental folks. What do you think, devs?

This app is great for making beats super quick and is super simple but with a ton of surprises. The drag fx strip and sampler are super dope. Breathes new life to a bunch of other AU synths and drums.

More words are needed, but I’ll just leave it at that BeepStreet, along with Bram (All Brambos apps), Michael (Loopy Pro), Jim (GR-2, Pure Acid, Poison), Igor Vasiliev (NoInputMixer, Exosphere, NoiseSpace, SpaceFields), Marek (Koala/Elf Audio), are part of a small number of devs in all of this iOS music space that demand your attention when they drop an app. Constantly pushing the boundaries, at beyond more than fair pricing. 

Frankly, the small music niche of plugin developers in all software should take notice of what these guys are doing. They’re top tier. 

BeepStreet honors this with a reminder of his warranted spot in this small class of by creating, seemingly, a retort to anyone’s issues with the potential complexity of what Drambo can be, in a rock-solid, elegant, fun to play beat making machine that’s simple, yet deep enough to surprise anyone who picks it up. 

A brilliant app.
