## OTP Auth Description
OTP Auth kann mit der Zwei-Faktor Authentifizierung von Dropbox, Facebook, GitHub, Google Mail und vielen anderen genutzt werden. Mach deine Accounts wieder sicher!

- Verschlüsselte Accounts über AirDrop, iCloud, Dropbox, Mail (und viele mehr) importieren/exportieren
- Funktioniert offline

Alle Daten, die von OTP Auth gespeichert werden, werden mittels AES-256 verschlüsselt. Das gilt für alle Daten. Insbesondere für lokal als auch in der iCloud gespeicherte Daten (sofern der iCloud Sync aktiviert ist). Das Passwort für diese Daten verlässt das Gerät jedoch nicht sodass kein anderer die Daten lesen kann.

OTP Auth sammelt keinerlei Informationen über den Nutzer und es werden auch keine Informationen versendet. OTP Auth wird nicht um Erlaubnis fragen, auf ihre Kontakte oder ihren Standort zugreifen zu dürfen. Und das wichtigste: Die Accounts werden nirgendwo hochgeladen! (Einzige Ausnahme ist der iCloud Sync: Hier wird eine verschlüsselte Kopie der Account im iCloud Drive gespeichert. Das Passwort verlässt das Gerät jedoch nicht).

Setze OTP Auth seit vielen Jahren ein, war immer sehr zufrieden. Habe die Kauf-Variante. Seit einiger  Zeit funktioniert das Widget in der Mitteilungszentrale nicht mehr und das macht es wesentlich unpraktischer. Habe schon versucht per Mail Support zu bekommen, leider nie eine Reaktion erhalten. Schade eigentlich.

Nutze die App seit über 6 Jahren, es ist die beste App auf dem Markt. Nur noch iOS 18 Unterstützung fehlt. Ich kann seit iOS 18 über Widgets keine Codes mehr kopieren, ansonsten funktioniert alles wie gewohnt. :) Macht weiter so und danke für die tolle App, seit Jahren wurde es immer mit Updates versorgt. Man braucht nicht jeden Monat ein Update, einmal im Jahr zu iOS Veröffentlichung reicht es aus. Wie heißt es so schön ? Weniger ist mehr und was lange wert wird gut. Hier trifft es den Nagel auf dem Kopf. Danke an die Entwickler hinter der App !!

### ****- "Backup funktioniert nicht richtig"
Ich hab die App auf iPhone und iPad installiert. Erstelle ich auf dem iPhone ein Backup und spiele es auf dem iPad ein, dann werden mir OTPs generiert, welche nicht funktionieren und welche auch nicht die gleichen sind, wie die auf dem iPhone. 
Falls das gewollt ist, schwache Leistung und dann wäre wenigstens ein Hinweis schön gewsen (oder eine Antwort des Supports).
Nun geht wieder die Suche nach einer neuen App los.

### ***** "Beste Authentifizierungs-App die es hier gibt!"
Ein dickes Danke an den Entwickler!

Es gibt viele Authentifizierungs-Apps im Apple-Store, aber jede hat dann doch die ein oder andere fehlende Funktion.

Diese App hier dagegen ist die eierlegende Wollmilchsau. 👍

Alles was ich brauche ist hier perfekt umgesetzt:
- Apple-Watch Unterstützung
- FaceID-Login
- Synch der Tokens zwischen meinen Geräten (komplett verschlüsselt)
- verschlüsseltes Backup
- Import von Bildern möglich, um für jedes Token das korrekte Logo
   anzeigen zu können 
- Anzeige des QR-Codes für jedes Token möglich (viele andere Apps    
   machen das bewusst nicht, damit man nicht so leicht wieder zu  
   anderen Apps wechseln kann)
- usw. usw.

Keine andere App kommt an diesen Funktionsumfang auch nur annähernd heran.

dass ich über diese App nur durch Zufall gestoßen bin. Und das, obwohl ich mich intensiv mit Themen wie Verschlüsselung, Passwörtern, und Datenschutz beschäftige.  Häufig wird über fehlende europäische Software und Dienste geklagt und diese App glänzt - leider bis jetzt eher im Verborgenen.

Eine erstklassige App. Minimalistisch, intuitiv aufgebaut, professionell, kein Schnickschnack, keine Werbung. Wenn man viele Konten schützen möchte und abends nach Arbeit und ohne Konzentration sich schnell noch an einem Konto authentifizieren möchte, ist diese Applikation genau richtig. Sehr angenehm in der Anwendung, übersichtlich und absolut fehlerfrei. Und ebenso erwähnenswert: OTP Auth ist auch unter iOS 12 lauffähig! Ich nutze die Pro-Version. Danke an den Entwickler!

Ich halte mich kurz. Ich habe diese App schon sehr lange, zuerst kostenlos, aber dann aufgrund der perfekten Funktion auf all meinen Geräten wollte ich auch dem Entwickler danken und habe nun die Pro-Version! Perfekter iCloud-Sync, einfaches manuelles BU und schneller Support, wenn man ihn mal braucht!

Schon einige 2FA Apps ausprobiert seitdem Microsoft die Watch Unterstützung abgekündigt hat.
Diese App erfüllt all meine Wünsche:
- Nutzung auf iPhone, iPad und Watch
- iCloud Sync
- Absicherung durch FaceID/TouchID
- und das Highlight: Ordnung durch Ordnerstruktur und Export/ Backup der Daten verschlüsselt

Ich nutze diese App seit Jahren und bin sehr zufrieden, insbesondere auch wegen der guten Möglichkeiten, die Codes zu sichern.

Leider wurde im aktuellen watchOS das Dock entfernt und damit der schnelle Zugriff. Es wäre großartig, wenn die App ein watchOS-Widget bekommen würde.

Die beste 2FA App im App-Store! Es handelt sich hier um die einzige App, welche nicht auf einem Abonnement aufbaut und dennoch alles dabei hat, was man sich wünscht, das wären unter anderem das Anzeigen des originalen QR-Codes, Apple Watch Unterstützung und iCloud Sync. Ich habe gerne die Pro Version erworben. Ich wünsche mir nur noch mehr eingebaute Icons, da bei mir z.B. die Hälfte der Accounts keine Icons hat und es mühsam ist, für jeden ein Icon zu fertigen.
