Read below" Just downloaded the app after parking, opened app, enter parking sone and paid for 4 hours of parking. Came back at the end of 4 hours to find a citation for $33.00 because the ParkOakPark apparently is the same underlying program for several other cities and the app pulled a old license plate number for a car no longer owned. Never prompted me for a plate number. I had to dig to find an app for Evanston IL parking on the phone that had that old plate number and apparently shared the info with the SEPERATE APP for PARKOAKPARK and listed the wrong plate number - hence my situation after 2hours while I was still legally parked for 2 more hours. Unable to get anyone at OakPark or the app to help resolve. I have proof of the expired plate and the receipt for the paid parking.
