Just dont gat the app at this point. Its too expensive and you have to pay for ADHD or dyslexia like its not our fault that we have it this is absurd and i will not recommend it its not what you think it is when i scanned a pic of a page it said random gibberish so please if your reading this DONT GET THE APP!!!! Im warning you
The app description claims to offer multiple voice options, but there appears to be no option to change it. Could someone please explain why that is/how to change the settings?
It’s ok. Not worth a subscription. Without a subscription you only get 2 tries anyway. There only seems to be one voice and the one they have is fine but fairly robotic and doesn’t change the tone of voice/intonation. There’s no way to edit the speech but it does have a speed function so maybe it’s ok for reading an essay or something. It also doesn’t change tone of voice for speech. This was advertised for reading fanfictions but honestly I wouldn’t recommend it, there are likely much better options. No hate to the people that run this app, I’m sure you’re all lovely and working on this. But I just don’t like the app 😅

At first it was going well and I took very clear pictures of the pages but it skipped a bunch of parts of the page and would start to mumble words and not pronounce things correctly
I use this for scanning text and then listening to it. I have scanned about 5 documents in total and then got notified of a paywall. 5 documents is too little. It is just hiding behind “free” but really having a big in app purchase.
Really helpful with my studies being dyslexic and not computerised voice at all.
Very useful for multitasking and wanting to have documents read out loud whilst writing up notes.
It really helps me annotate my books. Great app
What a great app, absolutely love it. Wouldn’t mind a few enhancements though. 1. Repeat a document. (So loop) would be awesome when learning a document 2. After import. To be able to edit the text again - seems it can only be done on initial impost ( without having export and re-import Phenomenal though.
