It can be played in groups of 4, or 6, The more the merrier. The goal of the game PhraseCatch Ultimate is to get your team to guess the word you’re describing before the timer runs out. PhraseCatch Ultimate game is a combination of musical chairs, charades and hot potato!

To create an online game, choose, ‘play online’. Now change the game settings to your liking. You can set options like points to win and the countdown timer just to name a few. One important option is the ability to use an online call service. If you and your group are all physically in the same room together we recommend keeping this value set to off. If you’re in different locations, turn this setting on. When you’re ready to move on, tap next.
Now tap a deck you would like to play, PhraseCatch offers multiple free decks however if you’d like, you can unlock many more by going pro.
Here you’ll see your game code. Share this code with anyone you’d like to join your game. When users are added they are automatically assigned to a team. You can change teams by holding down on the selected player and moving it to the desired location. When you’re ready to start the game, click start.
Click the Orange Start button to begin the round. The goal is to describe the word on screen without saying the word to your team before the timer runs out. When your team has guessed the word correctly, tap the handoff button. This will advance the turn to the next user. To skip the current word, swipe left or right.
When the timer expires, the opposing team is awarded one point. Repeat this process until the points to win value is reached.
