Do you need to get somewhere right now? It couldn’t be simpler with PickMe.
1. Fire up the app and make sure your current location is correctly displayed as your pick up location.
2. Enter where you want to go and get a fare estimate.
3. Select what kind of vehicle (Tuk, Nano, Mini, Sedan, Van) you want for your ride. An estimated time of arrival is also displayed to help you decide which kind of vehicle can pick you up the soonest.
4. Double check your payment method. You have the option to pay with cash or credit card.
5. If you have a discount promo code (we love giving those out!), don’t forget to enter it.

There’s no way to rate one start for a poor condition vehicle . The app itself forces you to rate 3 star to complain about vehicle. They do not allow custom reviews. 

I was in a loud piagio tuk tuk so rusted floor falling apart for passengers. So dangerous. Still had to rate 3 stars.

When it comes to rides, the drivers are not aware about points. They get mad at the end of the ride if they don’t get the full amount. What’s the use of points. And the location pin is always wrong. Customer service from these pick me guys are horrible!!! Make a complaint and they close the ticket without even acknowledging it. Uber is so much better and accurate.

I initially chose PickMe because it is a local company, and I thought I should use it to support a homegrown business as it grows—even if it meant paying a bit more. Unfortunately, I was completely proven wrong.
This app simply does not do what it is meant to do. On two separate occasions, I ordered food through the app, and it was never delivered to me. That level of unreliability is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, PickMe rides are also quite expensive. After these frustrating experiences, I switched to Uber. Not only are Uber rides much cheaper, but they also seem to have more ride options available for me, and they have never failed to deliver. Uber has proven to be much more trustworthy and dependable overall.
If you are going to choose PickMe, trust me, it is not reliable. Based on my experience, Uber is the pick because it is cheaper, reliable, and trustworthy. Pick Uber instead of PickMe if you want a reliable service.

All the travellers don’t use this app. The drivers are misleading you & charge more money. From Airport to Ratmalana I have paid 3,200/- additionally bcz of the drivers mislead & gone for additional 35km. This is similar to cheating. Pickme said they take action to the driver but no compensation to the victim. Specially for foreigners be careful from these scammers

Writing this review based on my personal experience. The service is extremely slow, mainly because there are often no delivery riders available. As a result, deliveries take much longer than expected.
In my case, I cancelled my order after waiting for a long time and receiving no proper service. However, despite the cancellation, I was still charged the full amount from my bank card.
Their customer service is also very disappointing. When you call the hotline, you have to wait a long time before anyone answers. When I contacted them to report my issue, the call was eventually disconnected without my complaint being properly handled. This level of customer support is very unprofessional.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. I hope they improve their rider availability, refund process, and customer support.

Absolutely terrible experience. The drivers are highly unprofessional and often drive recklessly. Many vehicles are not clean, which makes the overall experience even worse.

The 1331 customer service hotline is completely unhelpful. Instead of resolving issues, they provide little to no support when problems occur.

Their food delivery service is equally disappointing. Drivers frequently fail to pick up orders on time and appear to wait until they have multiple deliveries before starting their route. As a result, customers end up waiting far longer than promised. I’ve even had a driver deliver several other orders before bringing mine. If you order breakfast, don’t be surprised if it arrives around lunchtime.

Overall, this service is a complete waste of time and money. Poor customer service, unprofessional drivers, late deliveries, and a lack of reliability make it impossible for me to recommend it. I won’t be using this service again. Absolutely garbage

It is absolutely ridiculous that the app hides the running waiting cost during a ride. Because the live calculation is completely invisible, I was blindsided at the end and forced to pay an amount I never agreed to or planned for. This total lack of transparency feels like a scam to rip off customers. Show the real-time costs properly so people actually know what they are paying for!

Pick me app එකෙන් සිදු වූ වැරැද්දක්ද කියන්න නම් දන්නේ නෑ.

### *---- "Live tracking showed nothing 30+ minutes of fearing my package was stolen"
Booked a PickMe Flash delivery today at 5:27pm. The driver collected the item, but the app showed zero movement afterward — stuck at the pickup point in Pettah the entire time.

I called the driver directly — no answer. From that point on, I was genuinely afraid our goods had been stolen, and that fear didn't go away until the package was actually in my hands.

I called the PickMe hotline (1331) — busy. Called again — busy. This happened multiple times before someone finally answered. I explained the situation and was told the driver would deliver "within 10 minutes." Yet the app still showed him sitting in Pettah, not moving.

If live tracking isn't going to reflect reality, what's the point of showing it at all? At that stage just run it like a postal service — no fake location updates, just deliver the package. The entire value of a platform like this is trust: that your support team is reachable and that what the app shows is true. Today it failed on both. Won't be using PickMe Flash again.
