The Podium Pursuit Fan App is the official fan engagement platform for The Podium Pursuit Collective activating a vibrant and engaged community of fans who are assisting us in unlocking the full potential of African athletes. Check out all the features that the Podium Pursuit Fan App provides:
An Aggregated Social Media Wall and Newsfeed - A dynamic LIVE newsfeed that brings fans up-to-date news about which African athletes are competing on the World stage, into one easy-to-access social wall.
Fan and Athlete-generated Content - Fans [and creators] can send us their photos, videos and content about African athletes on the World stage. Podium Pursuit features top content for other fans to enjoy globally. Our Athlete Ambassadors upload content to further support our goals of recognising and celebrating athletes from Africa.
A Match Center - Our Match Center provides fans quick access to all upcoming and past match fixtures, league standings, and full-time scores for local and international tournaments that we follow. We also provide the links so that fans can access highlights and starting line-ups. Fans can predict scores and add messages of support for their favourite teams, while earning rewards for their interactivity.
Polls and Voting - Fans are invited to participate in our Polls and Voting of their favourite teams and players. Fans also earn points for actively participating in fan votes and correctly predicting scores.
Fan Missions and Gamification - Fans can join in the fun and compete with other fans globally by undertaking various missions. As each mission is completed, fans earn points and badges that are featured on their fan profile. The more points accumulated, the higher the fan ranking competing for the Podium Pursuit Top Fan Awards at the end of the season.
Fan Chat - Our integrated chat enables fans to connect directly with the community, fellow fans and athletes in sport-specific groups or fans can create their own fan group chats amongst friends and family. This feature enhances communication, build communities, and provides us with a better understanding of our fans' needs.
Digital Athlete Profiles, Ambassadors and Change Makers Profiles - Fans to interact with top performing African Athletes, Athlete Ambassadors and Change Makers shaping the future. Fans can search by African Nation, by Sport or by Athlete.
Results - All the latest results from events globally are featured on the Results Tab including individual results, medals and World Records achieved by African Athletes on the global stage.
Streaming - Fans can find Original Series Content, stream highlights from various games and soon watch the Podium Pursuit TV – our weekly magazine show that rounds up African athletes’ results and previews upcoming events along with a host of story-telling content from across the continent.
Digital Marketplace - Fans can find a range of official replica supporter merchandise and exclusive Podium Pursuit Merchandise. Fans can also start collecting our Digital Collectibles, Virtual Team Jerseys and memorable Moments of Glory Cards. Not only do these add to the fans collection, but they earn valuable rewards that contribute to the fan ranking and help us to further support athletes from Africa. Our partners provide special deals and offers and Fans can access Premium Memberships to unlock even more value.
Fan Tokens - Soon fans will be invited to participate in our fan-owned Athlete Impact Fund – a World’s-first Impact Fund for African Athletes offering Fan Pass Tokens and Fan Investor Tokens. The funds raised from these will be utilized to further the development, construction, and expansion of this transformative project to unlock the full potential of athletes from Africa.
