Unnecessary Forced Update
Forces app users to use their mobile data to update their game. Instead of providing an option to continue and update later when on wifi, it unreasonably prevents you from playing the game when out and about by forcing an update then and there. There was no update in the App Store 2 minutes ago, but suddenly when trying to put a pokemon in the gym it demands an update while on mobile data and won't let you continue unless you waste your mobile data on an update. DISGRACEFUL.
Incorrect place names
I’m living the game and updates (redownloaded from 2016) however living in NZ it’s very clear to see that the place names in Te Reo Māori are spelt wrong. I’m wondering if anybody has also dealt with this in a country that has indigenous languages too.

This game is so fun I love it so much
A few months ago I deleted the app
This was not an easy decision. I had previously had a lot of fun with Pokémon Go. It got me exploring and seeing places that I otherwise wouldn’t’ve. Not to mention as far as I can discover, this is the game that so far comes the closest to being able to let you pretend that you actually have a Pokémon buddy. The reason why I deleted the app was solely because of the new Terms of Service that was released earlier this year, that gave Niantic the “permission” to read our phones files wherever they felt like it. I know that ostensibly, this is to catch cheaters. And to be clear, I myself do not know enough about programming to even attempt to do the things Niantic would be looking for. However, I refuse to give a private company carte blanche to invade my privacy. This was not an easy decision. I had a few quite hard to get Pokémon that it felt physically painful to loose. Not to mention the amount of money that I have spent on this app over the years. I really wish it hadn’t ended this way.

It glitches a lot and makes u update a lot but it is a lot of fun and a fun family game

Gigantamax Battles are Unfair
The recently added Gmax battles are the most unfair challenges. I live in New Zealand and not many people play pokemon go so it is rare to even see 1 person playing against a raid boss let alone TEN! Please Niantic change this! Otherwise what’s the point in even having Gigantamax Raids.
