Super Verbesserung!
Das Tool ist super, nutze es schon seit Jahren. Jetzt gibt es endlich die Synchronisation mit Transmit. Extrem hilfreich, habe es sofort gekauft.
Subscription - nein danke
Ich brauche keine zusätzliche Mac App, die ich dem Preis nach aber teuer bezahle. Es wird Zeit für einen Abschied. Es war eine schöne Zeit, liebes Prompt, aber ich wechsle nun zu WebSSH. Wie viele andere auch, habe ich einfach die Nase voll von immer noch mehr teuren, aufgezwungenen Subscriptions. Genug ist genug.
Preisgestaltung inakzeptabel
Schade, der Vorgänger war sehr gelungen. Die aktuelle Version wird bei diesem Preis nicht zum Einsatz kommen. Ich halte von Software im Abo generell nichts, aber die Preisgestaltung hier ist einfach frech. Die „one time“ Variante schlägt dem Fass dann den Boden aus.
Von welchem Baum seid Ihr denn gefallen?
Ich liebe die App der Version 2 und diese ist bei mir auch im täglichen Einsatz aber eine Preissteigerung von 1000 Prozent? Was ist eigentlich mit euch allen los? Dass es eine Mac Version gibt, begrüße ich sehr und habe mir dies immer gewünscht aber in diesem Zusammenhang sollten auch 49.- Euro angebracht sein! Ich denke auch Ihr werdet ganz schnell erkennen, dass Ihr mit eurer App nicht allein auf diesem Planeten seid! Gelinde gesagt: Frechheit!

I bought Prompt 2 and then they removed it from the App Store forcing everyone to buy it again. Really scummy move.

Fantastic terminal emulator! I use it when I have a thought and am away from my computer.
Bad UX = Bad UI
It's just not a good usage experience. Clip syncing does not work well. Panic Apps worked better with iCloud Sync. Panic Sync is unreliable. Today I updated and ALL my clips and clip groups were literally just wiped away. I would prefer a manual way to backup my clips and clip groups rather than panic sync which destroys data. I've asked for some feature updates for several months. They are not interested in providing users what they need, instead they have this app that is what they want to give. And it simply does not work well compared to other terminal applications. UPDATE: I am increasing my rating from 2 to 3. I was contacted by support who inofrmed me how to retrieve my syned clips that had disappeared. So that was nice to not have lost all those. I still want an improved interface as previously requeted. As the interface improves I will continue to increase my rating.
Fake “Free” app, subscription based
Completely paid app, doesn't even let you add one server if you don't subscribe (or purchase the “lifetime” license)
