Branchenführende Sicherheitsfunktionen
Nachrichten werden auf Proton Mail-Servern gespeichert, die stets eine Ende-zu-Ende-Verschlüsselung verwenden, und sicher zwischen Proton-Servern und Benutzergeräten übertragen. Dadurch entfällt das Risiko, dass Nachrichten abgefangen werden, fast vollständig.

Null Zugriff auf deine E-Mail-Inhalte
Dank der Null-Zugriff-Architektur von Proton Mail sind deine Daten so verschlüsselt, dass nicht einmal wir darauf zugreifen können. Die Daten werden benutzerseitig mittels eines Verschlüsselungsschlüssels gesichert, zu dem Proton keinen Zugang hat. Proton Mail verwendet ausschließlich sichere AES- und RSA-Versionen zusammen mit OpenPGP, während die von uns genutzten kryptographischen Bibliotheken quelloffen sind. Durch die Verwendung von quelloffenen Bibliotheken kann Proton Mail garantieren, dass keine Hintertüren heimlich in unsere Verschlüsselungsalgorithmen eingebaut sind.
