wtf

awful update, now you get to randomly connect to a few selection of countries for free and if you don't like the one it gave you, you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can change it, and it's still randomized. Before it was just "Here, choose netherlands or us!" but nooo, now it's dogwater

В России трудно подключиться к серверам Протона, работает не у всех провайдеров

Didn't work

Installed the app and set it up, all good until I hit the kill switch button. Connection died instantly, turning the kill switch off did not help, killing the app did not help, the app went all black. Restarting the iPad did not change anything. Had to delete the app and revert to my previous VPN app.

I don’t recommend this for streaming

tried listening to a song that’s not available in my country, didn’t work.

Super bad

I just logged in to this with my email and it was useless. I need a premium version. Bla bla. You could just say, that there is a premium version needed.

Worst company support ever

Like most part of bon providers their are very fishy. I subscribed a first time to try where I was supposed to get some days for free. I cancelled right away but they still billed me for a full year. I reached out to support and explained bet they did not refund me. I did not even used 1 kb of data - nothing. Then one year later, I get a renewal email and they charge me again for a new year. I contacted them and no answer. I sent them at least 5 emails. Nothing… even trough their support page. Just scammers

Good but high battery comsumption

Great software but unfortunately protonVPN drains ~ 60% of all battery usage.

Good but it doesnt work when you use it on mobiledata or hotspot of phone that uses mobiledata
