## Pythonista 3 Description
Pythonista is a complete scripting environment for Python 3.10, running right on your iPad or iPhone, so you can develop and run Python scripts on the go.

Like Python itself, "batteries are included" – from popular third-party modules like requests, numpy, matplotlib, pandas (and many more) to modules that are tailor-made for iOS. With Pythonista, your scripts can access sensor/location data, your photo library, contacts, reminders, the clipboard, and more, allowing you to harness the full potential of both Python and iOS.

Pythonista is designed with a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for anyone to get started with coding, regardless of skill level. The complete Python documentation is also available for offline reading in the app.

Pythonista is not just for learning and practicing Python – it's also a powerful tool for automating iOS with multiple app extensions. You can invoke scripts directly from the share sheet or a custom system keyboard in almost any app, and integrate scripts with Shortcuts and Siri. With its ‘Shortcut integration,’ the ‘Pythonista keyboard,’ the extensive ‘in-app documentation,’ and a surprisingly sophisticated code editor for a mobile platform, Pythonista not only leaves comparable apps far behind but also offers an unprecedented enrichment for the iOS/iPadOS ecosystem with virtually limitless possibilities.

Although the app is still 99% stable, I hope for a future update that addresses minor UI bugs (such as dark mode recognition), the ‘Today widget,’ and so on.

The app is so good that I would happily pay for a new version!

I have been using this app to code on my iPad Pro for quite a while now and I was expecting to get more quality for the price I paid. In particular I was expecting a proper cursor implementation on the app. The cursor that the iPad Air/Pro magic keyboard uses is meant to adapt to wether it’s located above text (turns into a precise vertical line that allows to highlight and delete stuff easily) or not (turns into a dot). Unfortunately on this app the feature has not been implemented, I’m hoping that the developers see this and take action, because this app could really be the perfect iPad coding app if it had some improvements.

The App is very well made, fast with a lot of examples and more.
1. But no pygame, why? 
2. And also no pip option, to download new packages.
3. Python version 3.6 and no updates since a year.
Question:are you going to update the app? Is there a way to install pygame?

Es ist ein unfassbar cooles Tool :)
Leider ist für wissenschaftliche Berechnungen und Visualisierungen das Modul Scipy unerlässlich aber nicht integriert im App. Ich finde auch keine Möglichkeit bspw. via PIP das Modul nachzuinstallieren.
Ein cooles Tool einzige Verbesserungsmöglichkeit Scipy integrieren.

Use Pythonista on an iPad Pro 11“ with key board.
Just started to learn Phyton together with the ebook: Python crash course 2nd.

I could suddenly start, no installation, or setting problems.
Now I can learn everywhere. Love it, and is for sure the 10$ worth.
Recommend it to everyone who also wants to learn the programming language.

! Only difficulty:
Couldn’t yet install other modules (plotly) in Pythonista. Tried it with stash, but do not get it to run.

The commands of the input prompt are covered by the bar with the brackets and one can see what was typed only after collapsing the bar. As soon as the next character is entered the bar comes up again and covers what was visible before.

The characters, entered in the input command are also hidden. One would expect them to be displayed just after the terminal output.

great app... it comes with a set of very nice script examples and a beautiful design which makes it pleasant to code. I installed it to play and learn new python tools. However, installing python packages is rather complicated compared with other apps out there. I consider this an important limitation. I give 4 stars (instead of 3) cause I imagine it can (and hope it will) be easily improved in the near future.

On the iPad with a iBooks and Pythonista in split screen mode it is really a pleasure to use this App. I just finished Think Python (free eBook) and now start with more advanced books. The only downside are Apple's restrictions. Hopefully this will change with iOS11 (or future versions of iOS).
