Due to Canadas lax privacy regulations you don’t get prompted to accept/decline the tracking cookies when installing from a Canadian IP location.  Install the same app in the EU, where I am today, and you are prompted with a never ending list of trackers to accept/decline.  This is so frustrating and such an invasion.  CREA is barely above a criminal enterprise on a good day, now I learn they closely track you as well.

I don’t necessarily have an issue with the implementation of ads, but that typically means that the application itself gets better.

in this case is the same piece of junk that constantly fails. Only now there’s ads everywhere you turn where once there wasn’t.

The Realtor app is slow, buggy and provides less information. HouseSigma is a great app with much better functionality, reliability and information. I just bought a house and HouseSigma totally replaced realtor for me.

I’m sorry, why are we now being served ads in which essentially already is an advertising app for realtors?? It’s not like this app is a service we users are benefiting from - it’s meant to drive sales revenues for realtors: the app users are SUPPOSED to be the  clients. 

If anything, realtors should be paying for the upkeep of the app, NOT users (clients) by way of ads.

I don’t know what happened but I can’t scroll through listings without constantly opening them by mistake. The touch sensitivity seems to be ramped up on my 12 pro max. I adjusted the setting on my phone for touch duration but it doesn’t seem to make any difference inside this app.

I like being able to look at homes without handing my contact info over to some realtor so they can bombard me with emails. The app itself can sometimes crash or be glitchy which is annoying, but it’s generally pretty intuitive and reliable.
