Great idea, poor app
Rent umbrella has been in my company building for the best part of 6 months and I’ve been using it on and off. My normal experience on a rainy day is around a 5-10min wait to as people onboard onto the app in front of you leading to the long line. Maybe displaying signage asking customers to move aside and sign up first might work? Recently the app has been having crashing issues after Apple Pay step the screen goes blank and does not reveal the code. There’s no way to recover the code when this happens and you have to go to customer support to tell them you’ve not collected it. This took 1 hour to resolve which was the end of the lunch break. There’s another umbrella company that just uses a debit or credit card with no sign up or app required so I’ll just use that when I need it. Honestly I’d decided to save the faff and buy a umbrella to keep in the office. Nice idea just needs some crash recovery options and self service support.
