The game updates frequently to keep your interest. Character designs are superb, and the story is deep! It’s worth investing time into for those who enjoy detailed plots! Do note for anyone who wants male characters, this game has a few but rarely releases new ones. There have been no new male characters after Joe. I suggest investing time into Arknights or Hoyoverse games as this one will leave you wanting. Though gameplay is fun, it can be overwhelming and newer players should expect that it will take a long time to obtain the resources needed to play all of the content. This game is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion, because I just love how it puts such a realistic and compelling narrative with actual real life settings, locations and representation. The character designs are beautiful, the voice acting is incredible and the stories never miss. Reverse:1999 is a live service visual novel gacha game with combat sprinkled in. Unlike other games of this genre it’s very free-to-play friendly and has extremely high rates compared to others. This is the company’s first game and they’ve really outdone themselves. There are so many unique characters and so many different stories to play. About the story: Follow the main character, Vertin, through her journey as she travels through time. She works with a magic organization researching the strange phenomenon called the “storm” that has been reversing time since the turn of the new millennium in 1999. In this world there are two races, humans and arcanists. Not only does she need to help research the “storm” she must also fight against the human-hating arcanist organization, Manus Vindictae. Along her journey, Vertin meets many different arcanists and offers them safety from the “storm” in her magic suitcase. Unlike Vertin, most people can’t go in the “storm” without the risk of being reversed with it. It is Vertin’s job to record the current era and recruit new arcanists to the LaPlace Foundation for their safety. If that interests you please check out Reverse:1999.
