Know what’s happening at home wherever you are with Ring Video Doorbells, Security Cameras, Alarm systems and Ring Intercom. Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras can send you instant alerts when someone’s at your door or motion is detected. Keep an eye on what matters with live HD video and greet visitors with Two-Way Talk. With a Ring Protect subscription (or free trial), you can review, save and share Ring videos.

With Ring Intercom, you can speak to whoever is at your building entrance and buzz them in using the Ring app.

Ring Alarm systems let you monitor entrances and indoor spaces. Enrol in Ring Alarm Calls (compatible Ring Protect subscription required) to trigger automated calls to your emergency contacts when a security issue is detected.

Whether you’re halfway around the world or just popping out to the shop, with Ring, you’re always home.

Update: 

Found out that the app doesn’t like VPN usage. Works fine again once I switched off the VPN 😂

I bought the peephole version and it was great. Until now. Noticed this morning that it’s offline. I tried reconnecting, not working. I tried registering the device again, not working. I signed out of the app… and now I can’t log in. Deleted the app and downloaded the newest version from 3 days ago… nothing. Trying to contact customer service… not sure how as I don’t have access to the app. 😢

I have changed WiFi and the cam won’t reconnect.
The pop up shows on the screen with a visible lag after the ring is pressed.
The set up is a nightmare and it’s not uncommon.
Ring really has to fix this.
The capabilities and features are cool but the set up is very bad and often just fails.

Having this app on my phone is constantly draining my iPhone battery in the background even with background app refresh turned off, so this app is useless to me as i’ve had to delete it because of this issue which means I can’t see any notifications for motion or doorbell rings.
