It may say total war for mobile but this game was and has been designed for a key board playing this on mobile is hair pulling the total war series is one of my favourites but on mobile it’s horrible

I moved to Mac and apple products about 10 years ago and the only thing I miss about PC is age of empires. Finally purchased this in the hope it was somewhere similar - it is not. Far too complicated. Far too much going on. Endless prompts and hint screens. There is a perfect strategy game template out there (age of empires 2) and it’s not available on Mac or Apple Store and nobody has bothered to make anything similar. Please if you read this and have the expertise - make it and make your millions on App Store

I love this game, the history is quite accurate, always loved the total war games and how you can play them offline and I become a little hermit, if only I could afford to just play for a solid 3-4 days and have some real fun emerged in the story, but still after about 5 years I’m more skint than ever and can’t afford the time to even play for more than a hour, one day people one day! Haha bet others want a sesh but can’t afford it too haha Mr pockets on (YouTube) ;)

All the total war games on iOS are great but this one is by far my favourite with the variety of factions and added mechanics like pagan and Christian religions mattering more.

However, after playing a lot you can reach the limit of what you can do, and with so many total war games out there it would be nice if a few more were ported to iOS like Shogun or Empire, but other than that it’s a solid game. 5 stars.

Really good game,  bought all the total war titles in a bundle which I would recommend checking out rather than single purchases. Unbelievable game and blown away that it is actually available to play on an iPhone (I have iPhone 11, not sure what it would be like on lower models but smooth on this one and would be great to see it on an iPad as well).   Controls and view take a little bit to get used to but stick with it becomes easy after first play through

I have played both Rome and barbarian invasion on mobile and I am pleased that it works the same as I remembered it all those years ago on pc. Hope to see Medieval 2 in the future!

This game is far beyond anything mobile has ever seen before. The game itself is very good and DEFINITELY worth the money. My only problem is that the game recently has started to crash more and more often. I have less than 15 seconds on campaign before it crashes. I used to play this game everyday but this is really causing some problems. I tried deleting the game and installing it again with no result. I really hope it will be fixed as I am hoping to be able to play it again.

Really enjoying the game especially with all the unplayable factions as playable , I have realised though that the Celts haven’t got a colour on the map when the Lombardi for example do and were both unplayable factions, recently playing a Celt campaign I’ve had a few heroic victories (Darn Romano-British lol) but I haven’t had the famous battle site mark appear and assumed it was because they hadn’t been fully converted into a real faction, which is a shame because I do like leaving those marks across the map. It would be nice if they had different voice actors with different dialogue appropriate to the faction like in the base game , Celt general saying pull your bows when they don’t have bowmen for example( just want to add that Celts did have bowmen historically so giving them a complete update would be very nice ) , other than those tiny things this is a really great game and a great value , once you get the hang of the controls it’s really simple
