Runestone is made by a single person with a love for text editors and a vision of building the most lightweight text editor for iPhone and iPad that still has the core features for editing code.
Features:
- Syntax highlighting of many languages including HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Markdown, Swift, Python, PHP, YAML, and many more.
- Select one of the twelve standard themes including popular themes like Tomorrow, Dracula, Solarized, and One Dark Pro.
- Innovative find and replace for searching and modifying text while still viewing your file.
- Choose font and font size, including support for custom fonts imported using another third-party app.
- Show the line and column the cursor is located on.
- Uses the standard document browser for an experience similar to the Files app.
- Quickly navigate to a specific line.
- Automatically close opening brackets and quotes.
- Multiple windows on the iPad.
- Format code using Prettier.js. Supported languages include CSS,HTML, JavaScript, JSON, PHP and more.

But “line endings” switch / convert doesn’t work. Do Nothing. Also changing Text encoding, It will be displayed only after closing the file

Plz, add git integration
Hello, thank you so much for a great app! In order to become ideal, it lacks only integration with the git. I really want to be able to send the code to gitlab, then the application would allow me to fully make changes to projects, regardless of my location.

Great App
Stop working after iOS update
This was my favourite iPhone text editor, but I think after updating my iOS now, I cannot open any file from my local SMB shared file anymore, I can see the folder I can select and duplicate the file, but when I try to click on the file, nothing happens.
Okay
This app is great. My only problem is that I can’t get JavaScript to work. That’s why I’m giving it a 3 star review.
Excellent Editor
This editor does what I need in a simple and pleasant way.
Great Text App
One of the best options I’ve found for editing on iOS. The premium is worth the money for the extra features. Only bug is my collapse header isn’t working though, I have it turned off but it still collapses. Would love to see an ‘undo’ option one day :)
