This app is using your location in background mode so that your position can be shared with other pilots of the SafeSky network while in the air. Whether we pilot a paraglider, airplane, hot-air balloon, ultralight aircraft, … through SafeSky we contribute to the safety of all by sharing our position in the sky anonymously. The application works both on the plains and in the mountains using the internet network in flight. SafeSky is greatly efficient in high-density areas such as aerodromes or certain traffic crossings and convergence points. Im Flug vielen mir deutliche Unterschiede zum bordeigenen Antikollisionsystem auf. Ein großer Teil des anderen Flugverkehr wurde im der App nicht angezeigt. Dazu musste ich die App mehrmals neu starten, nachdem sie abgestürzt war. Die Bedienung ist recht umständlich und wenig intuitiv. In Kombination mit Skydemon wir mein Flugzeug doppelt angezeigt, obwohl ich gemäß der Anleitung mein Flugzeug in der App eingerichtet habe. Leider ist das in den öffentlichen Garmin Spezifikationen nicht dokumentiert. Wenn Sie dies entsprechend ändern, sollte die Kommunikation möglich sein. I have problems getting it to work reliably. My plane has a Dynon HDX which I link with my IPad over a wifi network created by my HDX. The ipad has a data SIM and is running SkyDemon. I can’t get SafeSky to appear in SkyDemon. I also have a uAvionix SkyEcho that I’d like to use too. If it helps, I also have an iPhone in my cockpit that could be used, but as my iPad is on the HDX wifi, I suspect I can’t share the data to SkyDemon that way?
