If you have low account balance and if you want to withdraw money don’t use WePay. I withdrew money on a Friday recently through Wepay. Amount was deducted from app but didn’t released from ATM. I called the hotline and they told me to wait till Monday to get my money back. What if that 5000 was all I had left in the account? This happened to me twice. And when I tried to get the refund to my account that’s also not possible. They only refund to the wallet. We have to face the consequences of inefficiency of the Bank. Useless app.

I’m honestly so tired of this app. Every single time I try to make a transaction, the same error pops up. I’ve tried again and again, at different times, and it never works. What’s the point of a payment app if you can’t even complete a basic transfer? This is beyond frustrating and a complete waste of time. Really disappointed.

Whenever i switch to a other app and come back to wePay app, the face it icon keeps popping up. It wont recognize face and keeps trying. Same with camera for QR payments. Always have to restart the app to get something done. Annoying!

This is the second time I’ve had serious issues with this app. A few months ago, I transferred LKR 1900 using Wepay — the money was deducted from my account but never reached the recipient. I had to call and email the bank, and only after *two days* was the money returned. Two days, for an emergency transaction!

And now, AGAIN — I sent LKR 2000, and the same issue happened. Money gone, recipient got nothing. I emailed immediately and have been calling nonstop for almost 30 minutes. No one answers! Just the same useless automated message over and over.

How can a bank be this careless with people’s money during *urgent* situations? This app is completely unreliable, and the support is even worse. FIX THIS.

Very poor experience with this bank app. It keeps crashing during login and transactions often fail. The app is extremely slow and the interface is outdated. I have all bank just pay apps and the Frimi and Flash app are very useful and stable 

The Wepay also i use as just pay apps that i use other bank’s also

Horrible experience, I have changed my mobile number, and even after I informed the bank and changed the mobile number in the system, I can’t log into the WePay account as it sends the OTP to the old mobile number. I have reached out to the relevant department through calls, two emails and two follow-up emails yet there are no updates.

The app is decent but has far too many bugs that need to be fixed, I can’t add accounts or cards, bill payments often fail, transactions to other banks don’t go through, and the only thing I can reliably do with this app is pay certain bills, whenever I contact the bank they say the app is still under development but it seems that development never ends.
