SCCDineOut provides easy access to food facility inspection results within Santa Clara County and is the official app for the Santa Clara County Department of Environmental Health.
You can easily locate restaurant inspection results including a summary of violations, inspector observations, the placard color (Red, Yellow, or Green) and the compliance score. The placard color generally represents how safe it is to eat at a facility and is based upon the total number of major violations observed during an inspection. The compliance score is an indication of the overall conformity with the California Retail Food Code on a score from 0 to 100 (100 being perfect).
Highly trained Environmental Health Specialists routinely visit thousands of food establishments in Santa Clara County during unannounced inspections.

Doesn't work
The app keeps telling me to connect to wifi. I am connected to wifi. I tried turning off wifi and using LTE. The app co tinier to insist that I connect to the Internet. It would be an awesome app if it worked.
WARNING! You may not want to eat out after using this app!
A commenter on Facebook recommended this app after the recent Shigella incident in San Jose. I poked around and looked at the records for a few of my favorite local haunts and was quite surprised to see their unsavory past. The app makes it really easy to find restaurants and clearly see previous inspection result summaries, which are quite detailed. And if that's not enough for you, you can even get the full report as a PDF. Install and use if you value your health when eating out!!

I love this app and will never dine without it again. I checked every restaurant I take my family to.
Will not run
iPhone 4 with 7.1 and I only get a black screen. I reported a problem a week ago to support, and they have NOT responded yet............. Don't bother to download YET, maybe later when the "bugs" are out of it
Cannot open the app on iphone4
The app crashes during startup on my iphone :(
Awesome app
Easy to use and provides invaluable information about places I eat. Move over Yelp, this is my new go to app before going out for dinner.
Works fine on my iPhone 6 Plus on iOS 9

The app works great and it shows details of what the restaurants needs to improve

Doesn't open, just crashes on a blank screen.
