First, most of the time I open this app, I go to word finder. It would be great if the app would either remember the last state, or if the default functionality (when the app opens) could be changed in the settings. Second, though the words are generally up to date I do occasionally come across legitimate words which are not included in the engine. The most recent one I can think of is velcro. I will grant you that this is also a trade name, but it also refers to a type of fabric fastener for which there is no other word. Forget the trade name. It has now entered the lexicon of day to day conversation... not as a verb, but as a noun.
