Scribd: 170M+ documents

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with your service. I purchased a subscription on 18 December and received a welcome email. However, I was unable to download anything because the system did not recognize me as a subscriber. I escalated the issue on 23 December (5 days later) and again on 28 December (10 days after purchase). Despite these follow-ups, the problem remains unresolved as of 8 January—21 days later (even accounting for public holidays during this period). I provided screenshots of my active subscription and proof of purchase, yet no meaningful action was taken to address the issue. My holiday is now over, and I didn’t get to enjoy any of the books I had planned to read. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I will be cancelling my subscriptions to Everand and Scribd.

I keep getting billed and it’s more than the initial fee and I’m unable to get my refund no way to get help.

I took their trial offer, and they sent me a message that it’s about to expire, when I went to try to cancel it it says there is no active trial or subscription yet they tried 5 times to to debit me via Apple Pay without any success

Hi I have been a long time subscriber. While I like the idea of the documents and books/sheet music becoming separate entities, it has become impossible to use Scribd on my phone and IPad. Every time I try to log in, there is an issue with the App Store and then it logs me out not giving me another chance to log in again. I do not have this issue on my PC. This is a great pity as I use it as a resource in teaching. Please advise.

So damn upset that my app updated itself to A DIFFERENT app and name. Took me ages to locate the damn Scribd app only to find out it’s now called Everand. Doing what I usually do in Scribd on Everand seems to be a problem and tells me to redownload Scribd. What?!! After I download Scribd I have to fight and guess passwords on ALL my devices for what my subscription details were. What a major inconvenience!

Good Day, I’ve been a Scribd subscriber for ages and all of a sudden, it’s showing as Everand which has limited functionality, giving a link to download Scribd from the App Store which I did, but now it’s saying I must resubscribe to Scribd when I want to download or save documents when my subscription is still active from iTunes. I find this really frustrating and request that it be sorted out because it’s a huge inconvenience.

I used to LOVE Scribd and Everand, but they’ve changed recently and now they charge you way more money for way less access to their catalog. I wanna use cuss words right now, I’m so mad. Cancelled my subscription!

Scribd is good but expensive for what it is and how much I use it. Everand always locks up where I leave off on an audiobook. Have to reboot iPad to get it to work again. New and updated iPad. I liked Scribd before Everand.

This app makes sense since the subscription covers everything. I don’t have to purchase any book to read. Like a digital library, once you get through the gate (the subscription), you can try as many books as you want. They also offer audio books, pdf docs, literally every media type. I have kindle and audible subscription before, they are more expensive and the books are not included, I was limited to one book a month per subscription, some months I don’t want to purchase any book, then my money are wasted, and the samples are not enough to decide if you want to read the rest of the book. Spotify also offers audible book, but again with limited audio time. Scribed is the one and only app that offers unlimited books. Cancel or pause the subscription is easy, if you have an iPhone, just go to setting under subscription and click unsubscribe.
