What a joke. I’m less than 10minutes into the first story and I have to wait 8 HOURS before I can progress?!?! I played the Netflix version of this game and was obsessed. I was sad to see that Netflix didn’t seem to be adding anymore stories so I thought I’d check the app out. I’d seen some reviews commenting on the new wait/coin structure, but nothing in almost a year so I figured I’d give it a shot to see if they’d listened to any of their reviewers - my fault really for giving them the benefit of the doubt… Unfortunately, structure is MUCH worse than I thought and incredibly misleading from the description. They state that you just have to wait between stories, but I’m only a few minutes into the first story and I’ve been hit with an absurd wait limit? Not only that, but my only options are to use most of the coins I started with to shave off just 2 hours, or use 2 of the 5 diamonds they gave me to skip it completely. I can only assume that there will be multiple moments like this in EACH story, not just between them, that will force me to obtain levels of patience I can’t be bothered to commit, or spend money to gain more coins/diamonds to get me to play. I’d much rather the developers LISTEN to their players and allow us to purchase stories/seasons, or even allow us to watch ads to skip (and that’s really saying something because no one hates an ad as much as me). In a world full of brain-rot connoisseurs and people who love to binge content, I just don’t see making people wait 8 hours to progress will work out. I’ve already started to not care and it’s only been a few minutes. I’ll probably be deleting this game which is a shame as the stories look genuinely interesting and immersive, but it’s not worth the hassle to be honest. They haven’t even given me a chance to be invested before slamming a door in my face… I’ll check back in a year and see if they’ve finally listened :’D -- Famous customer, 2025-05-08 ### *---- "Inaccessible" This game is completely inaccessible with VoiceOver, and so screen reader users like myself are unable to play. Really frustrating. -- Leksix, 2024-06-24 ### ***-- "wasted potential" the concept, the stories, the mechanics, are all incredible. i’ve never seen a mobile game quite like this one before and i was really impressed and excited upon finding it. however, it being free is ultimately a huge lie. the only way to actually play the game to its fruition is to get coins using actual money. most games would have ways of earning coins without paying; like a time limit, mini games, watching ads, but no. it’s honestly really disappointing that this is an unplayable game for anyone who can’t afford or doesn’t want to pay. if it was going to require payments just for it to be playable, it should’ve just cost money to download from the beginning; that would at least be honest and respectable. this business tactic is just pretty manipulative if you ask me. i would definitely recommend giving other options of ways to earn coins without spending money. or, just making the game itself cost money and removing the in-app purchases. -- leif the person, 2024-05-11 ### **--- "Disappointed" Thoroughly impressed and really enjoyed this game!
