Ring-binder. Scrapbook. Scrivener combines all the writing tools you need to craft your first draft, from nascent notion to final full stop. Tailor-made for creating long manuscripts, Scrivener banishes page fright by allowing you to compose your text in any order, in sections as large or small as you like. Got a great idea but don’t know where it fits? Write when inspiration strikes and find its place later. Grow your manuscript organically, idea by idea. Whether you plan or plunge, Scrivener works your way: meticulously outline every last detail first, or hammer out a complete draft and restructure later. Or do a bit of both. All text sections in Scrivener are fully integrated with its outlining tools, so working with an overview of your manuscript is only ever a tap away, and turning Chapter Four into Chapter One is as simple as drag and drop. Need to refer to research? In Scrivener, your background material is always at hand. Write a description based on a photograph. Reference a video or PDF. Check for consistency with an earlier chapter. On the iPad, open two documents side-by-side; on the iPhone, flip between research and writing with just two taps. Once you’re ready to share your work with the world, simply compile everything into a single document for printing, or export to popular formats such as Word, PDF, Final Draft or plain text. You can even share using different formatting, so that you can write in your favorite font and still keep your editor happy. Its a great app, but its clearly not for me. The desktop syncing is terrible in that one time I actually did something on mobile. It gives me a warning on Desktop every time and if I did something on desktop it warns me on the app as well. Its annoying. -- Gerrit Jordaan, 2025-02-17 ### *---- "Syncing using not only Dropbox which is expensive" I am from South Africa. Dropbox is extremely expensive for me (especially with the exchange rate between the Dollar and the Rand). Google Drive is much more affordable and I would love to rather use Google Drive to sync across devices (a Windows Laptop and an iOS iPad). We are however forced to use Dropbox. I used to have Scrivener on my iPad and on my Windows Laptop (Lenovo), but dropped the iPad version because I can't afford Dropbox. Please look into syncing using Google Drive (I have the Google Drive app as well as lots of other Google products on my iPad) and I will use the iPad version again. It will be absolutely fantastic if you can also work in Notiin and ChatGPT in some way as well. ChatGPT is awesome for planning and outlining and Notion for planning. -- Customer Kim, 2023-11-08 ### **--- "Promising, but…" The productivity gains using Scrivener on my iPad Pro (my go-to device) are real and should not be underestimated However, there are several (pretty major) disappointments that make me doubt it as a serious editing tool… not being able to define styles and the way notes created on the desktop version are obscured, are my two major gripes Several features can be greatly improved, like access to my font library and my preferred font without having to first navigate through a series of menus and then hanging to scroll through the entire list… If these things could be attended to by the developers, my rating will greatly improve But for now, I will persist in the hope that these things will be attended to VERY SOON! -- Osks, 2021-08-22 [View all Scrivener reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Scrivener Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Топ платных | Соединенные Штаты | Productivity | #7 | | Топ платных | Швейцария | Productivity | #8 | | Топ платных | Швеция | Productivity | #10 | | Топ платных | Великобритания | Productivity | #18 | | Топ платных | Испания | Productivity | #20 | | Топ платных | Австралия | Productivity | #21 | | Топ платных | Франция | Productivity | #26 | | Топ платных | Ирландия | Productivity | #28 | | Топ платных | Финляндия | Productivity | #28 | | Топ платных | Мексика | Productivity | #34 | | Топ платных | Германия | Productivity | #42 | | Топ платных | Сингапур | Productivity | #43 | | Топ платных | Новая Зеландия | Productivity | #45 | | Топ платных | Япония | Productivity | #47 | | Топ платных | Южно-Африканская Республика | Productivity | #48 | | Топ платных | Португалия | Productivity | #48 | | Топ платных | Румыния | Productivity | #48 | | Топ платных | Норвегия | Productivity | #49 | | Топ платных | Польша | Productivity | #50 | | Топ платных | Доминиканская Республика | Productivity | #53 | | Топ платных | ОАЭ | Productivity | #54 | | Топ платных | Дания | Productivity | #57 | | Топ платных | Республика Корея | Productivity | #57 | | Топ платных | Бельгия | Productivity | #60 | | Топ платных | Венгрия | Productivity | #62 | | Топ платных | Греция | Productivity | #64 | | Топ платных | Индия | Productivity | #67 | | Топ платных | Нидерланды | Productivity | #68 | | Топ платных | Соединенные Штаты | Overall | #74 | | Топ платных | Гонконг (САР) | Productivity | #75 | | Топ платных | Канада | Productivity | #78 | | Топ платных | Швейцария | Overall | #80 | | Топ платных | Чехия | Productivity | #81 | | Топ платных | Филиппины | Productivity | #81 | | Топ платных | Бразилия | Productivity | #91 | | Топ платных | Австрия | Productivity | #93 | | Топ платных | Украина | Productivity | #94 | | Топ платных | Италия | Productivity | #95 | | Топ платных | Кувейт | Productivity | #102 | | Топ платных | Малайзия | Productivity | #106 | | Топ платных | Саудовская Аравия | Productivity | #107 | | Топ платных | Египет | Productivity | #107 | | Топ платных | Колумбия | Productivity | #111 | | Топ платных | Турция | Productivity | #113 | | Топ платных | Израиль | Productivity | #116 | | Топ платных | Аргентина | Productivity | #126 | | Топ платных | Чили | Productivity | #130 | | Топ платных | Тайвань | Productivity | #138 | | Топ платных | Нигерия | Productivity | #138 | | Топ платных | Вьетнам | Productivity | #139 | | Топ платных | Швеция | Overall | #145 | | Топ платных | Казахстан | Productivity | #166 | | Топ платных | Таиланд | Productivity | #170 | | Топ платных | Пакистан | Productivity | #186 | | Топ платных | Индонезия | Productivity | #222 | | Топ платных | Испания | Overall | #230 | | Топ платных | Великобритания | Overall | #233 | ## Scrivener Discovered Keywords -
