Seed Oil Scout: Healthy Dining

I get this app is an easier search for seed oil free places. But i guess a quick google maps search for “tallow” or whatever other healthy ingredient, usually help me locate places that use such desired ingredients. So thank you, i am NOT paying. Because I remember this was once free when the app didn’t have that many places on it 👎🏼

App wants all your info then money before it tell you where is safe to eat. I’ll die unhealthy, fat and early thinks guys!

I signed up for the “free trial”. They immediately charged me $38.49. Maybe the app is worth it but I don’t even care, I never wanted to spend that much on an app and now I don’t know what to do. Hopefully others see this before utilizing the “free trial” offer.

“According to App Store guidelines, an app must function fully without requiring a subscription to be downloaded and used; if an app is marketed as "free" on the App Store, it should provide all core functionalities without forcing users to purchase a subscription to access essential features.” Love the idea, but this app collects a ton of your information up front, requests permissions, etc. It then blocks you until you subscribe WITH NO BYPASS. This violates the rules of the App Store and this app should be delisted until it complies.

The fact that my region is not well covered is not the issue. The user should get a taste of the data before deciding to purchase. And the free trial is nearly impossible to cancel. U can’t figure it out.

that the app creators force you to start a 7 day trial before using their product so I must say it is worth the money!! health is wealth

A recent review of a restaurant in Milwaukee said it is safe to dine there because they deep fry in canola oil. That is not safe in my book. Not sure if this site can continue to be trusted

I like the idea of the app and the overall layout. My big complaint is it’s a subscription based app. I wish they could find their funds in advertising versus subscription
