I have it because I was asked to get it by the school, but if it was my choice I wouldn't go anywhere near one of these dehumanising apps. I guess my years as a teacher, and knowledge of my own kids' needs will no doubt be disputed by the developers in an attempt to convince me of the usefulness of their app, and I'm sure they mean well, but it seems to me that many apps like this are like a ship of theseus model re. replacement of genuine human interaction. Anyway, apps OK, but would prefer just my kids info rather than tons of posts of other kids in different classes etc. Don't know if that's the apps fault or the school's but either way, just unnecessary extra info to load the brain with I guess.
