## sendward Description
sendward is a climbing session app for iPhone and Apple Watch built around a simple live loop:
Start Climb → Finish → Log → Rest → Ready
Use it during gym sessions to track bouldering, auto belay, top rope, and lead climbing without turning your session into paperwork.
Start a session, choose a discipline, time each climb, log the result, effort, grade, and optional quick tag, then let sendward guide your rest countdown before the next attempt.
sendward is fully usable on iPhone alone. Apple Watch is optional and adds a wrist-first climbing flow for starting climbs, finishing climbs, logging attempts, viewing rest countdowns, and tracking live heart rate during sessions.
KEY FEATURES
Simple climbing loop
Start Climb, Finish, Log, Rest, and get ready for the next attempt.
Multiple disciplines
Track Boulder, Auto Belay, Top Rope, and Lead sessions.
Grade logging
Log V grades for bouldering and Yosemite Decimal System grades for Auto Belay, Top Rope, and Lead.
Result and effort tracking
Record whether you sent, flashed, repeated, fell, attempted, or worked moves. Add effort so the rest recommendation better reflects how hard the climb was.
Auto Belay Start Check
When Auto Belay is selected, sendward can pause before Start Climb with a reminder checklist:

●	Lock carabiner
●	Tug test
●	Confirm you checked it
This is a reminder layer only. sendward does not hardware-confirm clip-in or replace gym procedures, staff checks, partner checks, or personal responsibility.
Rest countdowns
After logging a climb, sendward starts a rest countdown based on the result, effort, and discipline.
Apple Watch support
Use Apple Watch to start a session, start climbs, finish climbs, log results, pick effort, select grades, track rest, and end the session.
Heart-rate tracking
When Apple Watch is available, sendward can show live heart rate and summarize climb and recovery heart-rate data.
Calendar Archive
Review saved sessions by day. See which days you climbed, how many sessions you logged, and what happened during each session.
PDF export
Export saved sessions or selected climbing days as PDFs for review, coaching, training notes, or personal records.
Read-only history
Ended sessions are saved to the iPhone archive and become read-only. Active sessions stay separate from saved history.
Private by design
No account is required. Session history is stored on the iPhone.
IMPORTANT
sendward is a climbing log and session companion. It does not detect whether you are clipped in, does not verify climbing equipment, does not replace gym rules, and does not provide emergency monitoring.
