Shaadi.com: Matrimony App

For marriage it’s a good platform but so many flaws that I don’t see how the company is improving!! You have to pay to get to see the messages! Even after being a “platinum” member for more than 10 months, I don’t see ANY perks of spending my money here!! Your editing to the profile description takes days to go live! No matter if you are a platinum member! So many times my edits were not published unless I wrote them in “help” section and they approved it instantly! They start offering “vip” and “select” options for a huge amount of money! In addition there’s a feature to hide fotos and allow with only those who are connected with you but WHO WILL CONNECT IF YOU ARE NOT SHOWING FACE!?? That’s the only thing you are looking for in an app!! So dumb feature! So many Divorced girls hide fotos and then send invitations hoping that guy would be so desperate and accept it just because it’s SAYS it’s a GIRL! But in the fact there might be her brother, father or another relative that you don’t even aware of!! The people send you request to “connect” and if you don’t want to accept for the time being, ANY time it can pop up INSTANTLY and you end up pressing “allow all” and boom!!! You can’t UNDO!! If you reject, that’s FOREVER!!! Person gets notified that you REHECT THEM and I feel that’s bad for the person!! really bad way of saying no!! This is how they work! I would not recommend this site/app unless they improve it! Moreover there are SO MANY fake profiles!! Beware!! Updates- One more fake profile encountered. Unfortunately can’t take screenshots and when you catch them, they UN match so all goes away, and you have NO proof!! Even a hk up app like tinder has person verification with original person and verification, while for MARRIAGE like serious thing, “Shaadi” has NOTHING remotely reliable thing in place!

Good app. Very user friendly easy to use. Alert and search features inc surprise me are amazing. To wish more would be to edit the profile and self pictures to add or delete or make profile pictures using iphone would be great. In general good app and service.

It’s been 3 months I have been using this application, I would suggest don't waste your money on this app. The team calls u continuously until u pay them for their service once they get the money they don't even bother to reply, especially VIP Shaadi and select Shaadi executives. The sales team will make it sound like they have a different app for VIP and they have lots of premium profiles that you do not have access to. But these are all lies. Even if you get VIP for which you need to pay 50k. You will get data from same database as other normal users. The sales team only make big promises and when we questioned they said it's a different team and we are not aware. They promise to share the profile on weekly basis later there is no revert or action from the team. We need to follow up multiple times inspite of that they don't reply. Please don’t waste your money. Service is not up to the expectations. Worst support team.

It’s been more than 3 months after being a diamond member and not even a single one of my selections have responded to my messages. To add to that frustration, I have been rejected by almost every one of the profiles. I feel the matches have very high expectations from the prospective groom especially in terms of money. Most of the profiles especially women are looking for men with really high earnings. It’s as though they are getting married only to go on holidays and shopping rather than supporting their partner through ups and downs. They prefer men with annual income of more than 30 lakhs to a crore. This unrealistic expectations is really a put off especially when time is running out.

This app comes with new new profiles on a daily basis unlike other matrimonial sites which shows the same profiles for months.
