RELIABLE AND FAST
• Hardware accelerated text rendering.
• Robust terminal emulation based on the PuTTY engine.
• Works great with programs such as 'screen' and 'irssi'.

CONTROL WITH GESTURES
• Default gestures optimized for irssi. Just swipe to switch channels or to scroll up and down.
• Fully customizable. Any keypress or action can be attached to any gesture.

EASY CONNECTING
• Save user credentials and configure a remote command such as ‘screen -rd’ to connect with one tap.
• 3D touch support. Connect directly from the iOS home screen.

CUSTOMIZABLE KEYBOARD
• Easily bind custom actions to buttons on the keyboard toolbar.
• Works with custom iOS keyboards such as SwiftKey.

OPEN LINKS AND SELECT TEXT
• Familiar iOS text selection experience. Long-press on text to show the selection controls.
• Copy and paste text.
• Select a URL to easily open it in the web browser.

OTHER FEATURES
• iCloud sync support.
• Terminal color themes. Choose your favorite from the several themes included or make your own.
• Key file authentication support. Import an existing private key, or create a new key and export the public key.
• Host key verification and management.
• Agent forwarding (OpenSSH servers only).
• Keep connections alive while the app is in the background.
• Connection history with optional realtime location data.

Having used a lot of iOS/iPad OS SSH clients, and Linux admin for decades, this is -by far- the best SSH client I have ever seen. Been using it for a couple of years. Supports every scenario I could think of, including iPad physical keyboard, zoom, arrows, control chars, colors, etc.

So far this is the best SSH client that I have tried. It handle my SSH identities better than the others I have tested.

Performance is good, and I have quick access to all the normal keys I might need in an SSH session.

I wish I could enable an option to request fingerprint each time a key is requested from the agent - that would make things much safer.

### ****- "Great and does it’s job - one bug holding it back"
I’ve been using this for a while now and the premium version is absolutely worth it. There is one issue with the iPad version that I always had, if I use Shelly in a split-screen multitasking view, I cannot use text input in the other app. It seems input is locked to Shelly so I have to force close Shelly to be able to type in the other window which quickly gets annoying. This doesn’t seem to be limited to split screen, if Shelly is open in the background this will still happen until the connection is terminated after the 30 seconds is up.

Would love to see a fix for this.
