The app says there is a 3 days free trials and when I entered my information they charged me directly the full amount of the month even though that wasn’t mentioned on their site!!!

I have been using this app for the past 4 years and the more time passes by, more people discover this app and one has more opportunities to work and higher chances to meet incredible people. Thanks to this app/idea I have discovered my city from so many sides that I would not think it would be even possible. But the most important thing is that I met so many wonderful people that I can’t even count on both of my hands anymore. I wish i came up with this idea. Totally recommend!

An app that does the same thing as airbnb experience but with less people and a membership of 20€ a mouth for fast contact with people...ehi sir take my money and lets build a world where you pay people to show you bars. Ethics the most unknown mistery of humankind. Steal my bike instead.

I think the showaround experience is a very nice idea, the app is easy to work and even notifies you if someone contacts you.

I started to use this app few months ago and the idea is really amazing. You can go somewhere and meet new people knowing their city or you can be super useful in yours. Thanks to all team for the site&app!

Once I authorize the app to use my facebook account, it shuts down and cannot proceed. Now if I try to register without using facebook, it says that I already have an account connected to my email -_- I really wanted to try this for my next trip... please fix the bug :)

Unfortunately I had high hopes for this App. There’re plenty of guides on the App, but once you go on contacting them you realize the following: 1) very few ever respond 2) most responders use AI generated replies clearly for language barrier 3) most responders don’t follow through 4) the monthly subscription fees is ridiculous expensive to stay on the platform for long. In my experience Tours by Locals is a far better platform. I’ll reconsider if the subscription fees become reasonable

I had an unforgettable day exploring Tokyo with Hana through Showaround, and I can’t recommend her enough! From the moment she picked me up at 9 am to the drop-off for my Shibuya skyline at 3 pm, Hana went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing experience. We explored Asakusa, Ginza, and the Tsukiji Fish Market, even taking a memorable rickshaw ride along the way. Hana’s extensive knowledge of Tokyo’s culture and history added so much depth to each location. Her wonderful personality and warm demeanor made the tour feel like I was exploring with a friend. She was incredibly understanding and flexible, tailoring the tour to fit my interests and ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way. Hana also captured some beautiful photos, allowing me to keep these memories forever. I highly recommend Hana to anyone looking for a genuine and enriching tour of Tokyo—she truly made my day unforgettable! I hope that all the guides I meet are as amazing as Hana.

I work as a tour guide in Buenos Aires, one bad thing is the fake profiles that hire you. Many make you indecent proposals. I have reported several, but one person in particular from Italy, who I have never met and have never traveled with, made a false report and the app does not want to remove it. There are dangerous men looking for women for other types of activities that are not tourist-related. The worst of all is that no one in the app cares to solve your problem.
