Shruti Box

This app is absolutely useless! I want my money back. The sound is terrible. It doesn’t sound like a shruti box at all. The sounds are clearly synthetically created and you just hear an annoying continuous flat tone. I wouldn’t even use this if it were free. Do not buy if you like music or meditation. There’s really nothing that you can use this for.

Those who dislike it simply don’t understand it. It works perfectly and has beautiful “voice” selections. The virtual Shruti box can be “pumped” by moving the volume slider up and down with one finger - actually easier than a “real” Shruti box.

Doesn’t sound even remotely like a Shruti Box

Will not produce any sound on my iPhone 6s. I had to download a free software after forking out money for this app.

Very welcome update, but still needs Audiobus or IAA compatibility. The lack of these options limits its use. Please add!

Not very helpful for Carnatic vocal

This is a great app! I think the other reviewers don't understand what a Shruti Box is used for. If you are doing Indian Music you will like this app. The Pa and Ma are actually beatless against the Sa, if one selects Harmonic in the settings. The interface is obvious to folks who have used a real acoustic Shruti box.

Not a shruti sound, no dynamics, just a tone generator. Not really worth a buck.

This app is not very user friendly. As a beginner i wish it was easier to work with.
