The title itself is self explanatory. The app states that it allows people to make their opinions anonymously. Seen an instant that it allows classmates at one university harass another student online. Just allows the cowards in our society to use this app without having to wear robes and hoods to harass people. The sad thing is it’s in a community at a historically black college. Someone didn’t vote for the right candidate it seems.

App has basically no support. Only way to contact for an indefinite time out is an email address that never replies. Moderation has worked hard since the lawsuits to maintain certain narratives. I'm even a top user with a username and can't get support

This app always crashes and logs me out also the moderators are unfair towards men, I’ve been pretty much cyber bullied on here by women but if I try to defend myself my posts get removed and they’ll allow the women to say whatever no matter how sexist or offensive it may be. If anyone cares please look into this.

Its only selling point, the university server feature, turned out to be a nightmare. I joined Sidechat to connect with students on my university’s server, but a glitch logged me out, and I discovered the app locks you out for a whopping 90 days if you dare to log out of your university, making it impossible for me to access the server for 3 months. Despite numerous attempts to contact support, they've completely ignored me. If you’re not a university student, save yourself the trouble and stick to Reddit as it’s literally the same thing but better, even Twitter/X is a better experience – they're light-years ahead of this platform.
