Use any photo - a portrait, a landscape, a room - and Signal Loss reconstructs it in three dimensions using on-device depth estimation. No special camera required. No cloud processing. Everything runs on your iPhone. HOW IT WORKS Signal Loss uses depth estimation to generate a dense particle field from a single image. Each pixel becomes a 3D point, colored from the original photo, rendered live at up to 1 million particles. The result isn't a flat image or a filtered photo - it's geometry you can move through. For iPhone Pro users, we've added a Lidar option to walk around an object and warp the point cloud. 21 REAL-TIME FILTERS Every filter is computed in the GPU shader - no re-processing, no waiting. RAW · FOG · SLICE · CONTOUR · ECHO · BLOOM · FALSE COLOR · WIRE · DUST · WAVE · LINES · SWARM · VEIL · PRISM · RIFT · BORE · DRIFT Each filter transforms the cloud in a different way: atmospheric depth haze, animated particle swarms, prismatic chromatic shifts, structural wire overlays, and more. SIGNAL LOSS TOOL Every 3D photograph has missing space - surfaces the camera never saw. Signal Loss is what fills it. Choose a quiet reconstruction or let the voids become field: particles, static, and atmospheric structure generated from absence itself. Experiment through 5 types of artifacts. DRIFT A procedural flow field that animates every point in the cloud. Sinusoidal currents, depth-weighted movement, centripetal swirl. The scene becomes a living thing. CAPTURE & EXPORT · 4K and 8K still capture · Video loop export (H.264) · 360° orbit, Sway, Pull In, Pull Out camera movements · Point cloud export (PLY) - open directly in Blender, MeshLab, CloudCompare · Spatial stereoscopic export for Apple Vision Pro · Transparent PNG with alpha channel CONTROLS Orbit with one finger. Zoom and pan with two. Every parameter has a dedicated slider. Density runs from low to Ultra (1M points). The viewport background is fully adjustable - white, black, or any color you choose. PRIVACY Signal Loss processes photos entirely on your iPhone. Images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored outside your device. Signal Loss is experimental software.
