## SilverCloud Description
The SilverCloud Mobile location management software app will allow users of the SilverCloud the ability to view and monitor the precise location of LandAirSea GPS trackers installed on vehicles and/or assets, whether it's a single vehicle or an entire fleet of vehicles, from anywhere conveniently from their iPhone or iPad mobile device. 

With the SilverCloud Mobile App, users will be able to monitor the speed and battery life of each device by tapping on the icon located on the map. The location also updates automatically, showing the real-time GPS location of the user's vehicles and/or mobile devices. Users will also have the option of generating the Historical Playback of their tracking data to see precisely where their devices travelled. 

Vehicle updates will be based on user's data plan - 1 minute, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, or as fast as 3 second continuous updates.

This app/device worked well when I initially started using it, however the last few months not so much.  I’ve reached out to Customer Service and they don’t have any answered and have actually quit responding to my emails. The tracking lags, sometimes hours behind even though there are good signals. Example being, the vehicle will be in my driveway but it will show still being at the store or where it was an hour or more previously. Time to bail and find something better.

If you don’t have a cell phone signal for this to work off of, it will not work. I’ve used other GPS tracking devices where they work off satellites and this one does not. Also having Starlink on my boat does not help as it will not work off of that.

I’ve been using the same Land Air & Sea GPS tracker to track and keep tabs on my vehicles for about 3 years now. I’ve had no issues with my physical device and the applications ability to keep up with the 15 second updates my device sends out. The device is extremely accurate on location and the magnet is very strong. The company also gave me a deal when writing a review for them. Very satisfied customer.

I purchased the LandAirSea 54 GPS tracker for $9.95 from Amazon.com. Some of the attractions was because it was magnetic, waterproof and made in the USA. It was easy to charge and get activated. The only upset was on Amazon it is advertised as service being $9.95/mo for the 3 minute updates but in reality it’s $20/mo for the 3 minute which is twice as much as advertised.  I didn’t want to purchase a 24-mo prepayment plan until I knew it worked. 
I put it inside my sxs hidden and then hauled my sxs to the shop to get repaired. Every 3 minutes, you can see it on the playback video of where it pinpointed where it was during the journey to the shop. When I got back home, I viewed the video. I was disappointed that it showed it was sitting on the highway in front of a house I had passed and not sitting at the shop that I took it to about 3 minutes up the road. I checked the location again before I went to bed still showing on the highway a few miles from the shop. When I woke up the next morning, finally it showed exactly where I dropped it off at. I been watching it at the shop. It’s been moved around a few times in the parking lot but 2 weeks later, it’s still there with 60% battery life left. When I bought it, I originally purchased two trackers so I intend to put the 2nd tracker on my trailer. We have had a bunch of thefts in the area. Tweakers. I intent to pay another $20 a month for the trailer subscription making $40 per month that I’ll have to pay. But I will have piece of mind knowing that I could potentially track it. The only think that really bothered me was it took about 18 hours for it to show exactly where it was located. By that time, the thieves could have located the tracker and destroyed it. I’m not sure why it took so long to reset itself. But I still give a 5 star because so far it’s not too bad for the money.

One thing the app offers over their website is the ability to delete your account. Website has the delete button if you hit it, but all you get is a pop up window with “Really?” “C’mon…” and an “ok” button. Hitting ok just closes the window. App did the job! No longer a user/subscriber!

If you are here, good chance you already purchased a device. So, app wise, they have improved accuracy and reliability. I have two of the 54’s. Still spotty on update times. The app is mostly user friendly. Only big issue I have/had; is they offer the ability to swap an old device for a new one. (You are tracking YOUR devices!) but You need to get a code from them to swap the nonworking one with a new one. I wasn’t able to get a code. They quit responding. So I am quitting my subscriptions. One device no longer works and the other is showing signs of failing. 
Goodbye, worked OKAY while they lasted.
