Before the latest release when I received a push notification from a multi guest channel I could recognize this by the icon. Now the icon of the push notification is the profile picture of the user that is sending the message and is equivalent to when the person is texting you in a DM. this is frustrating since I receive between 700-1200 push notifications a day and I filtered  the priority of the text quite often only by the icon.  Now I cannot do this.

I use Slack on my iPad with Magic Keyboard and when I open a thread and swipe back with two fingers on the trackpad it opens Workspace switcher. I’m expecting that the gesture would close the thread instead.

Generally good, it just updates messages a little slower than on desktop sometimes. And I get notifications after I’ve completed a call - it shows one unread message for each person that has participated in the call - that’s both on desktop and mobile.

Just one minor note. If I receive messages and I open them and/or reply from my laptop, the notification badge does not disappear from the app icon on my iPhone and if I look in my phone after 2 hours for example I think I have unread messages, but when I open the app, I don’t see anything unread. Then I remember what happened. This is pretty pesky when you have very very busy workday, but apart from it the app is amazing. Very fast, well designed and full with options specifically curated for business communication. I recommend it with two hands and if the above can be fixed I will add two legs to that recommendation LOL.

I don’t care when I’m on mobile call to see only people’s avatars or their streaming. The most important is to have quick access to mute button and to choice audio output channel easily. That is a big problem because when I receive regular phone call, the Bluetooth headphones received the phone call and when I switched back to slack meeting I lost additional 30 seconds to choice proper output channel...

The app itself is decent and defo improving over the last few years, but why there is no landscape support on iphones while there is on android phones and ipads? This is a common sense to be included and can be easily implemented as a toggle in the settings menu. It’s work, yes, but sometimes we want to type in landscape instead of portrait or hold the phone/read that way.
