Slay the Spire+

Glitchy, twitchy controls register taps where there are none. Hold to preview works some of the time. Adds a lot of frustration to this great strategy game. Fix it.

This is a great addition to the roguelike-like genre. It takes some time to learn how to select cards for synergy, but once you get on a good run, it feels so good. My only complaint here is that on a phone the text and little status icon numbers are too small. Needs to be like 50% bigger because I am getting some serious eye strain over here

I’ll just start off by saying the game is fantastic. Excellent gameplay, functional controls and plenty of replayability. My only issue with this game so far has been with its progression system. At some point, while leveling all characters to max I guess I just wasn’t awarded the relic unlocks I was supposed to be. All my characters are now max, and I have every relic in the game unlocked, save for one relic in each rarity, which remained, and still remains locked. I have tried troubleshooting this error myself, but because you cannot modify an App’s files on iPhone, I have been unable to find any applicable solutions. This by no means ruins the game, however I would love the added variability that the extra relics would bring; especially the boss relic that I’m missing (Pandora’s box).

This is the most addictive game. I played in a very long time with several layers of gameplay you can experience. The ascensions provide a level of complexity that doesn’t frustrate you to the point of no return. Excellent game.

This game single-handedly makes Apple Arcade worth having, control issue is insignificant say goodbye to hours of your life trying to beat the spire!

I downloaded this game because I saw slay the spire but I couldn’t get it because it costs money to buy.A few months later, when I was in China, I was looking for a new game to play since you can’t play games like Roblox or watch YouTube in China. One of my relatives (in China) helped me to get Apple Arcade where I found this game. Best decision of my life. I have one idea though. Can you add a multiplayer where you can play with your friends? It’s fine if you don’t but it’s a good idea.

The cards and mechanics are great, but the enemies are overpowered and healing is rare to impossible. The randomness of encounters and enemy attacks ruins this game. Decks disappear after every failed run and you start literally from scratch with the only benefit being unlocked cards that still don’t help against 300 hp enemies that hit an 88 hp character for 30 and 40 damage. So disappointed….
