Easy to navigate and use.
Right now, the internet content filtering and vpn service isn’t working. It doesn’t matter if I restart, refresh, disconnect, reconnect, it wont work. What’s the point of paying for something that is “active” if it can suddenly not be active and there is no way to know via the app. It’s a waste of money to pay for the service but they lock you down so much they make it nearly required without paying for third-party hardware/software.
App hand worked for about 2 months off and on with it being more off. Even when I sign into ATT website, it’s no good as well. What’s the purpose of the app when you can’t use it. Honestly ATT doesn’t care at all. I have left so many reviews and it’s still not working. 10/1. - I did everything the developer said and still nothing. It worked for about 5 hours when it was storming and of course a new billing cycle. It amazes me that this is happening to a lot of people in different states and nothing had been resolved. Like I said before ATT doesn’t care.
Paid extra for Active Armor plus, blocks some connected devices, but not others. It says the internet is paused for my son’s laptop, but it still is online and he is surfing the web. (Yes I’ve restarted, reset, shutdown everything. Yes I’ve triple checked the MAC address and still it doesn’t pause internet. Individual website filter is working for his laptop, but not the pause)
Not sure if there was an update or something within the last month but the profile part of the app rarely ever works anymore. I set times for the children’s devices and when I need to change the times, i always get the “Looks like we’re having trouble” message. The troubleshooting is a joke. It’s very annoying. Would absolutely recommend if the profile part of it would work regularly.
I would hope as part of their deployments, SDLC is followed vs. unit test and push to production. I’ve been using this app for years with no real issues. I use the notification screen religiously and the “my network” tab. About a month back, I was unable to sync my Airties extender to my router so while the Airties is online, it no longer shows in list of equipment so I cannot manage it. The latest “feature” (what us programmers call bugs…lol) is when I click on notifications, it spins and spins and about 60-90 seconds later it will display. If I want to check on my network to view and manage my equipment and what’s connected…do not pass go, do not collect $200. The spinning/waiting wheel of death spins and spins and then says it’s having issues and to contact support. Today I removed the app and related data, reinstalled and no change. I’ve tried viewing data on this while on cellular, AT&T WiFi network, and my Eero WiFi network (all of which has worked in the past) but not now. Help! : )

Just when I thought there couldn’t be anything more worthless than the AT&T app there comes this one which provides no information troubleshooting didn’t even have the correct system that I had and there’s no way to direct into what I actually have. It’s a clunky interface, overly involved, swiping and clicking Needs a complete refresh
I recently moved over from Cox. Loving AT&T service stability so much more in my area and also saved $$$! That being said, I would like to see this app include the option to temporarily pause the downtime and it automatically reset itself at the end of each day. I set up my kiddo’s downtime so that I can check that he’s done his chores and homework before I let him use Netflix and his computer for the rest of the day. But I always forget to unpause the downtime every night.
