## SocialLite Description
SocialLite is a free app that blocks shorts from Instagram, shorts from YouTube and other short form content from other platforms. It is the app for people who want to use social media without losing hours to endless scrolling.

We don't block social media entirely - that's not realistic. Instead, SocialLite surgically removes the most addictive features while keeping the parts you actually need.

WHAT GETS BLOCKED

- Short-form video feeds designed to keep you scrolling
- Algorithmic recommendations and suggested content
- Explore and discovery pages
- Live streams and shopping tabs
- Ads and sponsored posts

WHAT YOU KEEP

- Direct messages and conversations
- Profiles you intentionally visit
- Content friends send you directly
- The ability to post and share

HOW IT WORKS

SocialLite provides a focused browsing experience for popular social platforms. Check your DMs without getting pulled into endless video feeds. Browse messages without algorithmic content hijacking your attention.

When you tap on a video someone sent you, you can watch that specific video - but you can't scroll to the next one. This simple guardrail is the difference between a 30-second check-in and a 30-minute spiral.

PRIVACY FIRST

SocialLite doesn't track anything related to your social media, we store your info on your device meaning it never touches our server so there is no possible account risk on our end. Additionally we do not sell any data, the only data we use is opt in, and its purely to see which ads you saw to use SocialLite, this helps us on our mission to bring this to as many people as possible. Privacy and Security is our priority and we are happy to answer any questions via dms, or email.

 Your attention is yours.

Take back your time. Download SocialLite today.

## SocialLite Reviews in Канада

### ****- "Great app, functional but needs polishing"
Works exactly as advertised for completely free! Haven’t had any noticeable problems except for minor lag when loading things.
-- fat kid from surrey canada, 2026-03-28

### ****- "Amazing app for what it is"
Prevents doom scrolling while still being able to use instagram. But recently been a bug where when I click on a reel my friend has sent me it doesn’t load and is just a black screen. Maybe a main page scroll limit as well.
-- Haspro24, 2026-03-27

### ***** "Recent bug keeps logging me out"
Overall great app but I just got a bug that keeps saying session timed out and having to re log back in. (fixed!)
-- Ranch1293, 2026-03-24

### ****- "The best thing to ever exist"
It is THE best thing to save our generation from the worst addiction on the planet. I would like to be able to contribute to make this app even better like reducing the tweaks like for snap but i cant. You guys NEED to never give up. When the time comes that everybody stops watching these short form videos you guys will already be there to save them.
-- 123matteoooo!!!!, 2026-03-22

### ****- "Actually Useful"
Works as advertised. Pretty laggy but it works for SocialLite, makes you pause and be a bit more mindful.
