Have four accounts linked including Spark. I use that as my primary money maker. Since this update my Spark account has disappeared and it’s pretty frustrating. It’s not updating automatically each day with the pay I made and what apps were using for mileage. I use this app to track the pay and mileage. I don’t want to do it manually again. Update: Since 12/31/2024, I have had to keep resynching GrubHub to Solo. I’m also not showing accurate in with my total earnings I’m making through the apps. I have wasted money into buying credits which you’ll need to schedule for guarantee pay and pay for an subscription just to still my money and receive not a cent like the economy and inflation isn’t bad enough people really create an app to steal peoples money. There is no phone number to reach an actual individual at all I should have researched this app better. Solo says I’m out my area and they don’t have to pay… Scam -- HandyUser124, 2024-12-11 ### *---- "Fraud" This app took 119.99 off my card today I need this to be escalated as soon as possible because that was my bill money I told you guys I don't want the service and to still take my money is insane -- Mistake never again, 2024-11-18 ### *---- "Broken" The integration with Spark is broken. -- infra172, 2024-11-17 ### **--- "No Spark Support" App no longer works with WM Spark as if 11/24. -- Rooski03, 2024-11-11 ### ***** "The File Cabinet" Time scheduling By the day -- Time savers 10, 2024-10-31 ### *---- "Terrible app" I worked the complete shifts for multiple days and they still didn’t guarantee any pay. -- spinky94, 2024-10-31 ### *---- "very misleading" i tried the solo app in order to take advantage of what they claim is "guaranteed pay". in reality they only pay you if the time you are on an active job (uber, doordash etc) is less paying less per hour than their "guarantee". essentially, if you "guarantee" any hour on solo, you have to have an active job(s) taking place in one of the apps that entire hour or else solo reduces their guarantee by dividing it by the time you were active on a job. so you may think you're guaranteeing a full hour but if you can a job for only 5 or 10 minutes than solo divides their guarantee by that active time. in the solo app it looks like you are all set to make say $15 for the guaranteed hour but in reality, if you are not active on a job in one of the apps the guarantee goes way down. after testing it for weeks they only ever paid me about 50 cents even though i "guaranteed" at least 8 hrs a day every day. don't use this app for any of the guarantee features unless you read over the terms very carefully. it's setup for them to get your monthly membership payment buy their credits then never get paid out from their "guarantee" unless it's a few cents here and there. the other milage tracking factors are good, but it pales in comparison to the misleading "guarantees" they offer. -- robond8, 2024-10-24 ### ***** "Sooo helpful to my business!!!" I worked a 2 hour shift and accepted every order given to me. I earned 21 dollars and was guaranteed 30.80. Solo should be giving me 9.80. But nope. They are giving me 6.10. Why? Because it only counts your time when working an offer. Not your time scheduled. They use false advertising by saying if it is slow you don’t need to stress, your pay is locked in. But explain that to me when I only got 3 offers in a 2 hour period (even when sitting in a red zone). It was slow. I accepted every offer. And you still won’t pay me since my time completing offers was only 45 minutes. I was clocked in the whole time and in my car logged into the app. This is just another example of how unfair the gig app is. -- Ashamed Asher, 2024-10-10 ### *---- "This app deceives you-Negative stars if an option" So I sighend up for a guaranteed pay of $63 and change for a specific 3 hour slot though Uber. They (the app) only has “Uber” as an account to add. Now being new to the Uber Eats app I assumed when I guaranteed my pay for over $20 am hour for a 3 hour slot with Uber that’s was all inclusive to the Uber platform-not specifically Uber Eats since it’s not differentiated in the Solo app when linking accounts. So I email customer support and let them know I’m missing funds from working those 3 hours (like $19.90) which I’d like to be compensated for and they tell me that I choose the wrong “Uber” option and that I am not elegible for my funds since I didn’t choose the Uber Eats option- which like I said I have never used Uber before, so I was unaware of the difference in the Solo app, and as I’m enrolled in only Uber Eats anyway-so why would I-the client of Solo know that difference? They don’t have it separated in the “linked accounts” page or even a disclaimer to choose which platform within the same Uber app you apply to on the Solo app. Anyway long story short I had asked them if they would be willing to reimburse me for those funds since my time and effort are not FREE (especially in this economy) and they said they would only give me back my 3 credits I spent…..um….yeah I’m hard up for my credits….no! But I am hard up for my time spent. Do not use this app. It’s not worth the time, pay or effort they say your getting. -- Xochi2024, 2024-10-02 ### *---- "Not impressed" Basically a pay to play app and then if you want to use their “guaranteed pay” you have to buy credits. Reminds me of those pyramid scheme people that tried to get you to sell Herbalife. The free trial did not impress me in the slightest. Honestly the guaranteed pay is so minimal I don’t know how you wouldn’t make it in one or two pax/deliveries in under 15 mins. Now the tracking income and expenses that’s a great feature, but it was missing 1/2 my rides and 1/3 of my miles, and other apps do it better and for free. I won’t be finding out about the tax filing feature or anything else cause .. delete.
