SONIC Drive-In - Order Online

Sonic updated the app sometime in 2023 and it was immediately worse: slower, clunkier, and buggier. The app does not remember me/keep me signed in. Finding a location on the map is excruciatingly slow. The checkin page glitches every time and messes with the checkin process. It’s not an enjoyable experience using this app. McDonald’s has the best fast food app, and comparing this to that is so sad. On the positive side, Sonic has recently added more app-exclusive deals, which they were lacking previously. But man, this is such a poorly made app.

Lots of Bugs in This App, IF you can’t get it to load. It also limits your customizations to what they allow and limits you to five condiments regardless of your order size. It’s a really frustrating app. If it worked correctly I would definitely give it a much higher rating!

There is nothing that Sonic makes that is worth the frustration of dealing with this app.

Can you fix the Apple Pay function. Love the app but if you can use Apple Pay or add a credit card not worth using

Need to be able to combine gift card balance for payment please.

Almost every time I’ve tried to use the app, I’ve had an error and it will not let me check out. It’s frustrating, especially when ordering at the location adds $5 and I can’t get any rewards for the purchase.

The app doesn’t work. Coupons make it crash. Multiple locations, so it’s the app’s fault. Don’t email me advertisements when you can’t even do anything right.

Never works

I love sonic! Always have. I have patient with the rapid change that seems to be going on. Some for the good some might not have needed change. Anyway the only issues I’m having at my local sonic is every week they are running out of something! I have ordered a soda for pick up and they won’t have it and I won’t know till I get there. The store won’t refund my money so I’m stuck choosing something that I really don’t want. Also when I check in it will say my orders in the kitchen and then it’s on its way and sometimes I have to push the button and remind them I’m there. This is very irritating! I do hope the problems get worked out because I so enjoy going to Sonic every week!!
