## SpeedPitch Description
_SpeedPitch_ ist ein einfaches Experiment zur erweiterten Klangrealität, das die Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit von Musik basierend auf Ihrer tatsächlichen GPS-Geschwindigkeit verändert. Je schneller Sie sich bewegen, desto höher wird die Tonhöhe, und plötzliche Stopps führen zu verzögerten Audio-Samples. Natürliche Bewegung führt zu unnatürlichen Klängen.

# Was ist das eigentlich genau?

Eine Medienkunst-App.

SpeedPitch ist ein Musikplayer, der durch Ihre GPS-Navigationsgeschwindigkeit gesteuert wird. Wenn sich das Gerät nicht bewegt, wird die Audiowiedergabe *sehr* langsam sein. Daher handelt es sich hierbei nicht um einen universellen Mediaplayer, sondern um eine erweiterte Klangrealität, die dazu dienen soll, die Erkundung von Bewegung und ihrer Beziehung zu Klang anzuregen.

Diese App lässt sich am besten mit Fahrrädern, Bluetooth-Lautsprechern und vielen Freunden nutzen, funktioniert aber genauso gut zu Fuß, im Auto, im Flugzeug oder sogar in einer Rakete.

Dieses Projekt wurde im Rahmen der Ausstellung „Nix Wie Raus! Fahrrad Kunst Sommer / Bicycle Art Summer” im BBK in Karlsruhe, Deutschland, 2021 entwickelt.
