SpotHero is a user-friendly app that saves you money and time on parking. For example, I paid less than $7 for 12 hours in Toronto’s entertainment district on a Saturday night, while most lots charged $20. It’s a no-brainer for anyone parking in downtown areas!

Paid for parking using the SpotHero app in Toronto today. Parked my car per the instructions in the app. Came back to find a ticket for $100 on my windshield. Contacted SpotHero and they won’t do anything about it.
I would use them from time to time but after this experience, never again. I don’t recommend them. It’s not worth the risk in my opinion.

Do not recommend, if you have any issues at the garage spothero will wash their hands of it. Terrible customer support, "not my problem" attitude. Book directly through a parking garage and avoid this third party nightmare to prevent being double charged

Overall, the app well-designed, and I find the “extend” parking feature very practical. Occasionally, the payment process can be a bit glitchy. One suggestion: it would be helpful if the app could cache the QR code image for parking areas with limited internet connectivity. Once, I was about to leave but couldn’t access the internet, so I had to go up to street level where is cell data access to launch the app, take a screenshot of the QR code, and then return to parking level L4 to exit.

If you are trying to pre book your parking spot before work,DO NOT use this app! Even you buy your parking ahead you will not have parking space when you arrive, cause you late for work! Even you pre book your parking spot ahead you will have trouble entering the underground parking, cause you late for work!!! Don’t say that I should arrive early for work to insure on time, I normally arrive 30mins earlier for work!! Try to get my paid parking still cause me late!

I used spot here many times. I find the app very intuitive and user-friendly! If you have cancel for some reason, easy to cancel. I would recommend this app for three reasons; 1) user friendly, 2) having view of all parking availability is right there on the screen, 3) cancelling was easy!

I use spot here all the time but they completely failed me. I booked well in advance for a parking spot for the buffalo airport and when I showed up it was not a Best western but a half way house for homeless and drug users no one at the front desk except q national guard and some volunteer staff. Who told me it was a private residence and no parking. I was in a hurry and it was 1:30 am so I booked another site near by at the quality in I show up after paying the $189 to the the app and the front lady says sorry I’m turning you away I asked why and she said that it is not in their system and nothing she could do told me to call spot here for a refund. They are closed at 1:30 AM so now I am out $389 it would be cheaper to park at the airport than to go through this hassle. I expect a full refund and for her to stop offering parking at half way houses.

This app is available in the Canadian App Store but its won't accept Canadian cellular number for SMS alerts. I have no idea if this app bills in Canadian currency or USA even though the parking location is in Canada. Read the negative connects of others being ticketed or paying more than the posted rate with the app. Caveat Emptor.
