## SSH Client Description
Lightning fast SSH terminal with remote file access. No other app fuses your SSH servers and iOS devices as well as Secure ShellFish. Tap Get and see for yourself.

Terminal supports standard text editing gestures for selection, scrolling and copy/paste as well as custom gestures to send arrow keys and tabulator making shell entry and full screen editing with vim or emacs delightful. Bar above the keyboard makes it easy to type special keys and insert snippets.

Select and drag filenames out of the terminal as actual files and drag files from other apps into the terminal to upload. Use built-in tmux support to persist terminal sessions if you lose Internet access, pick existing sessions with thumbnails and Handoff sessions between devices.

Server file system is available in the Files app and recently accessed files and directories are cached to make them available when offline. Use apps like Textastic and iA Writer for a native editing experience working on your remote server files.

Upload files or entire directories from the share sheet with minimal friction as the last destination directory for each kind of file is remembered or automate file transfers in the Shortcuts app.

Connect to your Mac, Synology NAS and any other SSH server or create new Digital Ocean droplets right from the app.  

Secure ShellFish is useful as a free app and paying pro users can disable ads in the terminal, upload through the Files app and configure unlimited number of servers.

Using an iPadPro to SSH into a Linux box, and trialing a few other SSH clients.   I found this one to be annoying out of the box. Poor font handling - Most fonts couldn’t do btop or astronvim properly, and yes I could probably install fonts, but the ones it had should have worked. None of the default themes were good for dark background (for me anyway) and yes, I’m sure I could spend time tuning it to my needs. But at £45, this is very expensive and I’m certainly not going to pay a subscription. I found other SSH clients to be less annoying out of the box, and much cheaper, even if they didn’t have all the bells and whistles.

Nice app with excellent features, but it’s disappointing that the lifetime price has more than doubled in less than 2 months. I was planning to take advantage of the lifetime offer, but this steep price hike has put me off. A real pity.

Yeah it looks nice ‘n all but it’s aggressive on the ads before I’ve even tried it for an hour, and I’m sorry but while termius has one issue I hate (its mouse wheel scrolling is the wrong way around), it at least gives you your whole ipad screen for the terminal. I don’t know what Secure Shellfish thinks I’m going to do with 3 lines wasted with a fat white menu bar hanging around the whole time.

The feature list of this app is insane. And importantly they work! The experience of being able to drag the cursor around the screen and have it translated to cursor key, keypresses to move the cursor within the terminal is flawless. With the ability to select a file name from a text listing and for the app to recognise it as a file and provide file transfer options is incredible. If this was also available in a desktop environment I’d buy that version as well. (Hint hint). Any questions I’ve had have been responded to promptly. Gets out of the way and acts magically as you’d expect it to, completely transparently. The iPad/iOS server setup syncing is a nice bonus. 

I’ve had a couple of issues shifting multi-gigabyte files, where I can’t tell if it’s continuing or not - I end up with lots of fragments of uploaded temporary files. For this usage, I will panic and transmit using a different app which isn’t as seamless but handles continuation of large files better. But for shifting smaller files around using the files app, and for the whole system integration, this is unbeatable. Heartily recommended.
