The one issue that causes me the most problems is the notifications. A notification comes and I get the red badge on the app icon. Apparently the red badge didn’t get removed when the previous notification was deleted. It’s got to the point where I ignore the notification badges and so miss many real notifications. Banner ads are far less obtrusive to the user experience. Mostly, you have to refresh the app or news so many times to get unread notifications to disappear. Sometimes you don’t even know what’s causing the unread notification to show. Pretty sure it’s been this way for at least a year. Despite raising so many times, still not fixed. Won’t be surprised if it’s a cheap ploy to force users to unnecessarily open app so you can force your ads on users. SUPPORT Support people, in my experience, haven’t been that useful. Sometimes they don’t event respond. May be even their support system is non functional. FORMATTING/HTML Pretty poor that HTML/formatting is not supported from mobile. You really expect users to use your browser version? You’d think it’s basics. We just post plain text messages, because we use app from mobile… so bland and not as readable. Id be interested to know what percentage of your users use browser to post messages. Claim of using this app for professionalism? Please… I fail to understand why people are putting “professionalism” over functionality/convenience. I know all users of this app still form whatsapp groups for granular communication. Claiming “app is free” and putting ads all over doesn’t make it ok to have issues because “it’s free anyway”. It’s not really free - you’re still generating revenue through users.
