## Stelo by Dexcom Reviews in Соединенные Штаты

### ****- "Stelo is definitely helping me"
5:58 pm
I have found Stelo to be a much more cost friendly way to monitor my BG as I was paying out of pocket before the release of Stelo. The fact that I am able to share my data with my doctor is a great benefit. I do have a suggestion to provide a touch slider in the graph to be able to toggle through the day’s data to see the specific BG numbers at any point in time such as where a spike maxed out at any point during the day. Right now reading the graph is a guessing game if you’re not looking for the current reading. That added feature would make Stelo 5 stars!
-- Stef0626, 2025-03-08

### ***** "Works"
**UPDATE** I discovered Dexcom’s free reports app “clarity.” While I’d like this in realtime in Stelo… they did deliver what I was after in one way or another.

**Original** I’m SO GRATEFUL dexcom made the Stelo… but: Graphing functionality is extremely lack luster. I can’t even see what the past numbers are. Are they 92 or 112? No one knows. Just a high-level graph. And I could use Apple health and third party apps, but the Apple health data load seems to be 2-3 hours lag.
-- carpedivum, 2025-03-08

### *---- "Hides high values"
I just was made aware of my high blood sugar, and bought this to have a starting point when tracking my glucose, and turns out, beautiful as this app is, it hides useful data (want to see the value when having high sugar to understand the spike? Nope!) Just gonna tell you it’s above 250 in the app, even though you can make a custom interval. Even worse, it doesn’t send those values to HealthKit either, so the only way to get the actual data is from clarity, which goes to great lengths to not tell you current readings.

If getting an approximate sense of your sugar while in normal or slightly elevated range, this is probably fine, but if you are hyperglycemic and not yet formally diagnosed and figured out, this app will not give you the data you need to understand what is going on.

### ***-- "Not working on Apple Watch"
Love the app on my iPhone, but it does not work on my Apple Watch Ultra 2. Please update the software/firmware to the latest Apple iOS so it can work on the Apple Watch. It would be much more convenient to just look at my Watch for the information, instead of pulling out my iPhone each time. Thank you.
-- Cabarino, 2025-03-07

### ***-- "Everything is fine so far except the constant bugging about turning on notifications"
I don’t want notifications. Telling me once that it’s advisable to turn on is enough. But it wants to tell me to turn on notifications every single time i open the app. Hope they fix this annoyance. I will come back and update my review if they do.
-- ChaseUser1122, 2025-03-05

### ****- "Recall glucose levels"
The sensor works great. It would be great to hit dots on scale for those results. It’s hard to gauge on the right side for later reference.
-- Bethe10373, 2025-03-04

### *---- "Far worse than the g7 app"
This is missing the widget and any export to constantly show glucose levels. Sharing needs to be included.
-- SourKevin, 2025-03-04

### *---- "What is the point??"
The app only shows current bg level and then a graph of the passed levels but you cannot click on the the graph to see what the highs or the lows are. What is the point? I need actual values.
Also it does not show on Apple Watch, it says “Check Stelo app on your iPhone”
Not useful at all.
-- km-n56, 2025-03-04

### **--- "It’s supposed to do one thing.."
I’m sometimes wondering, who wrote this app? They made an “improvement” so now we get these graphics that there’s no way to read (you can’t click on a specific point in time and read the measurement value there). Why do I care I can view these unreadable graphs historically? I’m not even expecting this app to generate insights or anything intelligent like that, but tojust do what it’s supposed to do (allow us to read time, measurement pairs). For some inconceivable reason, it does not.
-- L3t0!, 2025-03-01

### ****- "Super easy and intuitive but need some fixes"
The app is super easy to start & use. I was impressed with the how intuitively it fit into my routine, diet and exercise.
One issue is the range. Why does the range stop at 70? For diabetics it’s really important to know if they are crashing or staying at 70, which is kinda ok. I also don’t think the reordering was easy. Good tech but make it easy to buy!
-- Catmonk, 2025-03-01

### *---- "still thinks it should control my audio"
WHY does your app cause my podcast audio to 'auto-duck*'? I do not verbally input anything into it, and I do not allow it to make any noise at me at all (my glucose rises with every meal, so having it warn me about spikes is completely pointless) so it has absolutely to do with nothing to my sound outputs. All I want the app to do is record my sugar, silently, and allow me to correlate that to the meals I input and my activity. Nothing else.

I'm almost ready to give up on the CGMs because of this many times daily irritation that just gets more and more annoying.

And you telling me to give more feedback to your *bot*?! Incredible customer service, NOT!

*auto-ducking is when audio drops volume or drops out because another app thinks it needs audio silence to accept audio input or put out its own audio

and you offer submit something to a bot in response?! fix the app, don't blame me for your problematic app!

### ****- "The good and bad"
Things I liked:

The whole thing is very easy to use. Both my wife and I had no issues at all understanding how to use it despite never using a cgm before.

You can easily see what impacts you positively/negatively and make decisions accordingly.

I like the look back feature.

I can see making this part of my every day approach to healthier decisions…but…

70mg/dL as the lower range doesn’t seem to make sense. Should be 40 or 50.

Wish food logging was more simple - we ended up abandoning this feature.

Overall app needs to be better so I can do more within it (eg ordering another stelo). Other shopping options in the app would be smart too. - also face ID please.

Incorporating other health apps/info from wearables would be great. I use whoop and if I could see my Stelo data in my whoop app, all the better.

Finally - sadly, there is a stigma to CGM - some people still look at you funny when they see one. Do something to make the wearable clearly Stelo (look, branding etc.) - so the impression others get (who are in the know) is that someone is health conscious as opposed to dealing with medical issues. I think this would help uptake.

### **--- "Inaccurate - from a PCP"
I’m a primary care physician. I have been testing this out on myself for the past 2 months. While it’s nice to know how your body responds to certain meals I eat, it’s extremely inaccurate. I’m 20 mg/dL off all the time. Fasting, pre meal, post meal, everything. This is definitely not good enough for someone who has diabetes. This should only be used for someone who wants to be conscious about what they’re putting in their body and how their body responds to certain meals to have a general idea.

### **--- "Lacking Support and painful removal of Device"
My assumption is that creators of Stelo care about their customers who are struggling to manage their glucose levels, but evidently I am wrong.
1) Their device is EXTREMELY difficult and painful (if you have dry and sensitive skin) to remove even when using vaseline or oil and massaging it gently to separate adhesive from the skin. Every two weeks its a recurring nightmare. It can take me more than 30 minutes to get the device off. It’s also an exhausting and tedious process that can be painful because there are are some sections of my skin where it won’t release and I am tearing the device adhesive from my skin. And I find it insulting and aggravating that the example of how to remove the device on YouTube shows a gentleman, gently and painlessly removing the device. This is not accurate. It’s a falsehood.

2) Communication is POOR
Stelo says that it works with the Apple Watch, but it is not clear which Apple Watch models. I loaded the app to my Apple Watch and when I open the app on my watch my watch says: see iphone. This is ridiculous. Also, it is not easy to get information to help me resolve this issue. Which brings me to the third point.:

3) Getting meaningful customer support on a scale of one to 10 is a big fat ZERO.

4) Not communicated at all is the fact that to make the Stelo a more powerful tool to manage a glucose level it helps if you download another app called Clarity. This information is nowhere to be found. I happen to find out about this through an unrelated source. There are probably thousands of users out there that don’t have this information. WHY? Because communication from Dexcom/Stelo is very poor. Dexcom can create these devices in their labs, but they don’t know how to communicate with their users…they are out there somewhere on the far end of the spectrum. Please get your act together. Brilliance doesn’t shine through the density of your own inability to assist users to get full value and understanding of your products.

### **--- "Readings max & min out"
The sensor is buggy, sometimes not giving readings for short periods, with big disconnects in levels, and maxs out at 250 and mins out at 70. Why can’t it read above or below those levels? This is critical information that is missed that a user needs to know. I don’t feel I can trust the accuracy. It would be helpful to have reports generated to give to the doctor. Also helpful would be A1C conversion of the average readings. There will probably be a canned standard response to this review, which proves the developer’s not personally interested.
-- jhw56, 2025-02-27

### **--- "Inaccurate Readings"
The accuracy is terrible. My sensors read approximately 30 to 35 points higher than my Meter. The sensor needs to be calibrated. Also the should be down loadable to a CVS and or to XL spreadsheet. All this sensor does is monitor spikes. I would not recommend this sensor. Due to inaccuracy and unable to calibrate.
-- BB4570, 2025-02-26

### **--- "Does not work with Apple Watch"
I’ve spent hours trying to get the Stelo app in my Apple Watch to work but all I get upon launching it is a message telling me to check my readings in the Stelo iPhone app. Readings in my iPhone are not a problem. I have both devices paired. I have deleted the Apple Watch Stelo app. Turn off both devices (iPhone and Apple Watch). Turn both back on. Get the Stelo app downloaded onto my Apple Watch again, open my iPhone Stelo app and then while open, launch the Stelo app in my Apple Watch…same issue!! I’ve followed all instructions from a Stelo technical agent. Nothing.
The Apple Watch Stelo app simply DOES NOT WORK!!
Quite disappointing as a new Stelo customer.
-- bwizel, 2025-02-25

### *---- "New Update: Terrible"
Can’t check specific data point any more. Now I don’t know what my glucose was at specific time frame due to the new update.

We pay so much money get better designers and product developers.
-- IOS User 2024, 2025-02-25

### **--- "Not great - wish they would learn from Signos and Others"
Basic app that really is lacking in standard features that others like Signos have. Very simple things such as a iOS widget, and Apple Watch widget, simple food logging. Come on you are a bigger company that Signos but you can’t figure out how to develop an app?
-- Mikeeeeerrrrrrr, 2025-02-25

### ***** "Game changer!"
I have been using Stelo for a month after using another CGM. I find Stelo much more flexible and user friendly. Ordering is easy and promptly delivered. Applying the sensor is painless and not intimidating at all with the straightforward instructions. The thing I like most is how easy it is to navigate. I love love love the weekly summary for both my % in range chart and my average glucose for the day and the week. It has helped me make informed decisions about when I eat, what I eat that spikes or doesn’t spike, and seeing the timeline for how long those spikes take to come back to normal. I’m learning a lot! I’m thinking about getting an Apple Watch so I’m not tethered to looking at my phone throughout the day as I learn about my body’s response to foods.
To Stelo Developers: I would like to see an enhancement that gives more than just the high number of the green range and the low number of the green range. sequential numbers in increments of maybe 10 or 25 in between the high and the low would be extremely helpful. (70, 80, 90, 100 etc). Usually I get “shakey”when I dip below 80, so I set my low to 80 but it didn’t show 80 on the green range. I had to guess when it went below 80, or slide my finger over the dots to see the actual number and time. I started Rybelsus this week so this CGM is now helping me see each day’s activity to keep myself in the healthy zone.
