This Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. The cost of the renewal will match the initial subscription price.

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

I have been a subscriber via the app store for many years, last year the issues would not download (I subscribe via the app store) and they resolved it for me, this year same thing happened and I wrote a few times, but nothing, so paid for a year and got only a few issues…..  unsubscribed.

Like others I have lost a few years worth of issues, originally I switched from the ZINIO app as I was sick of losing issues but now the Stereophile app is just as bad. Currently trying to prove what I’ve bought in the past. May give up and put it down to experience and go back to hard copies in future, won’t be subscribing again as this is about the third or fourth time I’ve been through this nonsense

Very frustrating that develops repeatedly create this issue of launching a revised app, which fails to restore previous purchases according to their instructions.
Close to cancelling the subscription, and that takes a lot of frustration for me to want to do that!

Started crashing/closing after about 5 mins. Very annoying. Also, front landing page is very confusing. Would be good if it remembered where I had got to when I reopen the app rather than having to search through pages and try to remember what page I had got to.  Love the reviews though. Just shame about the app.

Works well on the latest Mac OS. Always a great read and look forward to the next issue, it would help if you could give some idea in the current magazine of the next publication date. Perhaps I am missing something? Pity that 4 year old reviews clutter up the ratings site.

If you don't have an iPad Air don't bother. On an iPad mini with retina display, the text is illegible without zooming in. On a iPhone 6 plus it is even worse. 

It appears that the developers grabbed a PDF and wrapped it in an app. Such a shame as the magazine content is decent 

To the developers if you want to see what good looks like have a look at one of the Conde Nest magazines like Wired. Wired delivers a great experience on small and large devices alike
