Please add support for youtube subtitles when native videos controls are on. The extension Vinegar has done this, for example.

Fantastic app, vastly improves the browsing experience and takes back control from some websites’ more questionable intrusions. Love the prevention of auto-playing videos that vie for your attention when trying to read something. Been using the mobile version for a while so getting the Pro version was a no-brainier to continue to support the creator. Thanks!

I found out about this on Daring Fireball and I was a little hesitant because of the price (broke student…) but I got it and it’s made web browsing a lot nicer. I would like to thank the developer for making this app, it works great across all my apple devices and actually looks like an app made for the platforms. My favourite features are the video controls and the iCloud sync

After being a long time user of the original STM I was surprised when I stumbled on this ‘Pro’ version, however, as the original was a must have for Safari extensions I bought the update to support the dev (Jeff) thinking it wouldn’t be a massive change to the original version like a lot of ‘pro’ versions on the App Store. I was VERY wrong… wow! What a brilliant upgrade to an already outstanding program. It’s a universal app so one purchase will cover your iPhone, iPad, MacBook etc. The only thing lacking is family sharing, but he’s an indie dev and income is required…. The app itself has a raft of options to allow you to make websites work as they should and not how some clown in a back office at a multinational company thinks you should use them! Turn them all on or off on a per site bases, on a per platform basis at your leisure. The tracker removal feature is great as is the website element blocker. I have an issue with Money Saving Experts website, where it insists on a ‘sign up to the newsletter etc etc to have it delivered every week’. I have got to the website from a link in the email so it’s just an annoyance. This program easily allows you to block the pop up element so it never bothers you again! Fantastic. Also the element blocker manager is now far more user friendly in this version. There is a shedload of additional options to tinker with and all with iCloud syncing so no more remembering to export settings and import them to another platform, much better. I didn’t think I’d need this and bought it more to support the dev than anything, and boy was I surprised at the vast array of improvements in this very much ‘Pro’ upgrade. You cannot afford to NOT have this in your extension collection, as along with a good ad blocker, you have the power back in your hands and not the website designers and marketers!

This is great and all, but do I still have to run the original StoptheMadness or just use pro?

It would be great to only need one extension installed

This app has single-handedly saved my mobile online browsing experience. It’s removed all the annoying Google sign-in prompts, the Reddit app prompts, and many of the other numerous prompts that seriously had me contemplating ditching mobile online browsing altogether. All of the other features and perks? Cherry on top of a delicious sundae. $14.99 well spent. If the developer ever tries their hand at creating an ad blocker, I will be ALL over that.

If you’re not a normie and you like to take control of your browser than you need this app

I saw “hide ‘Sign In With Google’ on all websites” and that was all I needed to hit the buy button. Everything else is gravy.
